Thanks Andy Kong for the reply. For the kind os music I listen (classical, choir) yes is not acceptable with solaris. For my other IEMs no problem.

We have Andromeda and Solaris as our IEM reference, we didn't detect any audible hissing with E01 during music playback, but we don't perform hissing test specifically such as turn the volume up at quiet passage or using silent file to "highlight" the background noise. We only test the combination at regular music playback.

On the other hand, I can only hear hissing with A01 and Andromeda when I purposively look for it. I honestly didn't hear any background during routine usage but YMMV. If you consider the A01 background noise as not acceptable, please try the E01 in person before you go for it.

There is only one version of each Audio Motherboard and E01 will not have balanced output. I have explained this in detail (HERE).

Waa great a new e01 pretty awsome !

I have to admit I really love T01 in fact I can confirm that this amp way superior over A01. It also narrowed the sq gap to my wm1z sooo close that some may not even hear the difference .

But me I am a professional audiophile I can hear it hahaHa )


I am worried about the E01 power output its only 105 mw. Ummm maybe for iems is not a problem but what about headphones?
Even my phantoms or my trio at 5.5 ohm will get penalized and probably get only 30mw? At 5.5 ohms.
Please need some clarification here thanks.


I also feel some discomfort about Eq, I know the cayin music app has one buuttt. It does not work with spotify and thats a big down side.
See in sony dap you got a global eq that affects all across the system.
Its very simple not complex and thats handy.
Can Cayin do the same ? Implement an eq into the settings menu like you did when you press the parameters of sound. Its embedded into the system.
I would love to see cayins eq implementation in that way please.


I also would love to see more amps in future! And a 4.4 and tubes dedicated spiralized amps would be amazing.

Suggestion you can make amps slightly longer, even if they extend a little by 1cm its all good for me

Yes, definitely.

I hope by now we have make ourselves clear. We didn't intend to produce a "better" module to supersede a previously released Audio Motherboard. You don't have to worry if there is an upgrade round the corner that will put your current Audio Motherboard to the bottom or your drawer. Each Audio Motherboard is there for its own right with minimum overlapping. This is a different approach to Modular concept in DAP.
