I will skip the E01 for that reason. I need 350-400 mW minimum, at least, to drive my IEM efficiently .
I need 750 mw , but I will try it.

LoL what are your iem???

I never heard of an iem need that much power?
Maybe lcd i4?

My 40ohm z1r out of T01 on 3rd gain and only around 35 volume. And 45 is very loud.

I suspect at 40 ohm its around 400mw I guess. That alot of power man

@jmills8 sorry but 750mw isnt enough, N8 again lol

S-EM6 V2 primary
ES5 - secondary.

This is two years of experience with my 6 BA regardless what is written in the spec or other people think about them.
They just don't perform well with a low power sources - axiom!

Ifi micro idsd black label was the best portable/transportable source for them and it remains like that.

Mmm I think I am.
It was good but trio to my ears is more to my type of tuning.

Got trio for 2 weeks and already loving it more than z1r! Even baught a plussound cable for them, yep that fast ) one of the most expensive cables I baught so far frankly.
Gold plated silver and a mini interconnect also made with gold plated silver alloy to matches the beauty. 4.4 to 3.5

So now I got that big sound and best cable ) to match it.

Z1r sounds good but *** that comfort is ridiculously bad.
I tried so much and gave up on it.

Nice , I did like the Trio when I had it.

Drive power mW is only one part of the equation. We also need to consider output impedance, the E01 is good at a quoted 0.6 ohm, the maximum drive voltage is also important and the sensitivity of the headphone/IEM plugged in.

My personal opinion from the quoted specs for the E01 is that it probably won't drive high impedance, low sensitivity headphone models it probably wasn't designed to that in any case. Class A-B mode was probably added to give a little more drive and open it up for use with more headphones, and to give it a bit more battery life.

Anybody using an IEM or headphone with > 100 dB/mW sensitivity and around 30 ohm impedance or less will be fine, it will be loud enough. If it isn't then you are probably listening too loud, sometimes I worry for peoples ear's you only get one pair, but its your ears nothing I can do about it. Listening too loud is the reason why a volume limit was added to Euro personal audio devices in the first place, this high-end "audiophile" gear we use isn't usually limited in the same way, as more advanced users we should show we can be trusted with this responsibility.

This is Class A and isnt about the watts. It's about the current delivery. Usually in amplifiers a 10w CLASS A is something like 100w equivilalant. Let's see if it drives the 182ohm earphones I have.

WOW.. ESS DAC is an option... just tried T01 and I prefer these then A01 pairing with SOLARIS.. Since i prefer more reference sounding..

Will N6ii will also have Nutube option?

IMHO. Cayin N8 is more tube sounding rather then AMP9...

As always, Cayin have ways to manage Hiss with Sensitivity IEM... can confirm that As Ex owner N5iiS... Hats up...

Pure Class A amplification is fairly uncommon in Personal Audio, we don't have a lot of reference or reviews that cover this topic very well, but in speaker application, 10W Pure Class A is very different from 10W Class AB. A 50W Pure Class A amplifier will easily outperformed a 100W Class AB amplifier when come to driving capability. So let's wait for the impression from users and Reviewers, I am sure someone will compare the T01 and E01 side by side with demainding headphones.

With our current product roadmap, we don't have any plan to make "longer" Audio Motherboard, there are enough options on our waiting list to keep us busy for quite a while already, and these are all within the current physical dimension of Audio Motherboard chassis.
Is there a button command to reset the n6ii ? If it’s frozen or something ? Like hold play and power for X seconds ?

If it won't turn on then hold the power button until it does, up to 30 seconds. Probably the same to switch it off and reset it, but I'm not sure because mine has only had the not turning on issue.
