I just purchased an R-01 on pre-order from Musicteck ( US distributor). Andrew from Musicteck said that a shipment of R-01’s is supposed to ship from China on July 15 and ship out from them to customers around July 20. Hope this helps.

Which over-ear headphones are you guys using with the R01 that provide great synergy and excellent sound quality? I'm looking to buy a set of over-ears to that will go well with the R01. I currently have Beyer T5p Gen2 but I'm looking for something more travel-oriented (i.e. not so big!).

I like T5P Gen 3 a lot, I consider it a big step forward from Gen 2. I haven't try any T5P with R01, so not sure if they have special synergy. I have tried Empyrean, it sounds good but I won't say its better than average synergy for Empyrean, I prefer T01 and E02 with Empyrean.

Hi! A am using AM via beta tester google account. Experience is positive, there is some bugs, but they updating app quite often to eliminate issues. I can assume that when it will be issued officially in Play store it should be a good alternative to Tidal. But at the moment I am preferring tidal Masters over beta Apple Music. Let’s see - I hope that Apple will fix all issues before realizing.

@nsk1979 thanks for replying. What's sort of bugs? Will it play at higher than 16/44.1? In my Mac mini it's limited.

There is some delay sometime when switching tracks. But every new version after update is better and better. AM can play hi-res tracks up to 24/192.

I’ve been enjoying the A02 +C9 combo for the past few days. This is the best, most articulate combo I’ve heard in recent memory. Desktop class sound from something so small! I can see why @Whitigir praises it so much. What a shame A02 isn’t available for more folks to buy!
