Two different ones. A 4.4 and a 2.5 only.
Am4?

I liked the X7ii more than the N5ii with AM3A but I haven't tried it with any other amp

It's like the Objective 2 amp in a way. Your gear sounds like how it's supposed to :)

Loving the bass on these. Very powerful and articulate.

EDIT: When going up in volume per dB, does anyone else notice sometimes you need to roll more “ticks” than other times?

I just updated to the newest firmware and I found this odd bug.

If you are using the album's playlist and you've set it to sequential play, after jumping to the next album, it won't choose the album's song that you are currently on, but the album's song that you are currently in. You'd need to go back to the full list of album and go back to the album you want to play.

e.g.

You have 3 albums:

Album A:

Track 1
Track 2
Track 3
Track 4

Album B:

Track 1
Track 2
Track 3
Track 4

Album C:

Track 1
Track 2
Track 3
Track 4

If you started from Album A, and played till Album C, clicking Album A's Track 3 will play Album C's Track 3 instead.

Hopefully this issue will be fixed in the next firmware update.

I too had to re-download over 3K files on Spotify because they were all gone... Bloody hell that's annoying since my connection sucks. :triportsad:

Did you do a reset or something?

No I didn't. I just started, had to relog to Spotify (via Facebook) and all my playlists were desynchronized.

Hi, I tried several times but unluckily couldn't reproduce your problem. Maybe you can double wipe to have a try. If possible, could you please send an video to my email community@cayin.cn to show this issue?

Yeah the clicks don't always correspond one to one with the dB change for whatever reason.

The volume table didn't go all the way linear from 0 to 99. I don't have the current N3 volume table with me, but from what I recall, the "middle" section is 0.5dB per click, and then we change to 1db per click on point, and then 2dB per click when you approach the lower end of the volume table.

That explains a lot, thanks :) Didnt know that the middle section was in 0.5dB increments. I thought it was just 2db for the lower section then 1db for the rest.

Edit : Come to think of it, wouldn't the dB increments vary from headphone to headphone as they all have different impedances and sensitivities?
