Unveiling at the fall Tokyo headphone festival. More details coming, please stand by.

Unveiling what? The fourth and final of the four IEMs they teased last year?

Does anyone find the Solaris SQ dependant on the source like crazy? Specifically, the source output impedance? My Solaris Mercury lost most of the low end power when I paired it with the new Luxury and Precision W4 vs the W2-AGC and the Cayin RU7. Turns out the W4 has a crazy high OI (even more pronounced when using 4.4 balanced vs 3.5 SE). It is even more sensitive to the source OI than all of my Andromeda (S/2020/Gold/Gold Ti) although they also exhibit slight lost of low end when used with the W4 but to a much lower extend.

Is there a FR impedance graph for the Solaris Mercury somewhere?

Just got myself the 64Audio Nio Galaxy and with their LID tech and the impact from source oi is significantly less. But then, not much on adjusting tuning by changing sources with those......

Hi guys! Thinking of upgrading to Solaris LE. I currently have Moondrop variation. What should I expect in terms of bass, mids, treble, stage, imaging, resolution and tembre?

I find the variation to have boosted sub bass, lean vocals on males but works great though on female vocals, vocals are a little pushed back in the mids as well. Treble is quite good but might not sound the most natural, gstting wide stage here compared to sub 500 iems same wirh inaging.

Nearly 2X the price, curious of the differences
Going off audible memory, which may not be great, I remember it sounding a little fuller yet more detailed.

Stellar Horizon is great at pulling out the hard to hear details in a song, it has fantastic definition. The highs were crisp and the lows, when called for, hit fast and hard. Where the 2020 Solaris could sometimes sound a teeny bit hollow, Stellar Horizon filled it in with even better details. Great for critical listening.

But then again, like I said, this is all from audible memory. I hope to get my hands on a pair of Stellar Horizons one of these days. I’ve been on a Noble kick, so once my wallets feeling a bit better I hope to snag a pair. Ha.

I will also add, Stellar Horizon is the most attractive, cool looking IEM I’ve seen in person. This is totally subjective, just giving my opinion.

I found a post from ClieOS about the output impedance. I wouldn't say "crazy high" but getting above 1-2 Ohms I'm guessing is enough to drop the bass in some Campfire IEMs. I get a bit of a drop in bass with my OG, compared to other amps I have here.

Did a quick RMAA test, W4 performed quite well. No significant difference compared to W2 on most part, though my tools could be at their measurement limit to show any difference that small. Output impedance are 1.55 ohm for 3.5mm output and 3.14 ohm for 4.4mm output. Though not so high to be any real concern, it is higher than expected.
