As far as i know they’re all the same just colour differences. Other questions I can’t answer sorry.

Campfire Audio Trifecta

- Start date
It's so interesting to me that a graph like this produces such a sound.
I tested various "problematic" songs.
The fourth chord of Kryptonite at the start can be very forward and piercing.
The double sharp S consonants of Too much love can kill you, normally at 0:29, here at 0:36 are extremely piercing with a lot of gear and you clinch.
At 0:47 - 0:50 in Addicted to you (here at 0:56 - 1:01) is an extreme shout test, a lot of headphones were just way too forward to the point of hurting me.
In Take Five, as soon as the saxophone starts, you want to turn the volume down with a lot of gear because it's just too much.
With the Trifecta, NOTHING hurts, nothing does sound sharp, too forward, painful, not good. It's truly as enjoyable as listening to it as you where there - live. It's so fascinating. Other manufacturers should maybe try to give less about the Harman target and check out how they can achieve such a thing.
@MusicalDoc8 This not a resolution first IEM, it's not trash in that regard, but other TOTL's are ahead, if you want the most resolving thing get an Annihilator or sth. The Trifecta excells because it does sound like live music, and live music is honestly not extremely resolving in comparison to TOTL headphones / IEM's where you can dissect everything.

I have my LCD5 as literal audio-microscope. The Heartland are more live-like and little less resolving but i love them. What are the annihilator and the sth? It's so interesting to me that a graph like this produces such a sound.

Elysian Acoustics Annihilator is one (if not the) most resolving IEM's. U shaped (subbass and treble boosted), extremely well extended treble (the best honestly, beside stax), but never sharp and piercing. I haven't heard any other TOTL IEM's like the bird (Trailii), so you should think about your preferences and check out into various TOTL IEM comparisons. The Subtonic Storm is also extremely good from hearsay, but this thing is uber crazy expensive and you can't get one.
I don’t have Jewel or Tralli, but I think u12t has more resolution and detail than Trifecta, but that’s not the reason I get trifecta for. I feel like Trifecta is closer to Final D8000 in my headphone collection, it wrap the sound around and felt warm and nice and I just can lay back and enjoy the music without a scalpel dissecting the music. I can do that with U12t.I love my kennerton heartland, is the trifecta the equivalent of IEM heartland? How's resolution compared to other totl? Do they stack up to the jewel or tiarilii? And does the "astral plane" version have any differences?
Will trifecta be my only IEM if I can keep one? Probably not, but it surely is fun and analogue sounding enough, and it pairs well with U12t/Phonix on opposite end.
But it’s important to audition it, my foot was tapping when I tried Trifecta in comprising to Phonix, so that’s a good sign (for me).

Trifecta rejoined my roster this week, after a long and winding road where I fell out of love. Rather than give up altogether, I moved on from Astral Plane to a new Amber Radiance, and I will say these live up to their name. I've added Pentaconn Coreir brass tips and @doctorjuggles cable to the chain, along with the M9+ to reinforce warmth and roll off some treble. All of this, along with some great music, has rekindled the glow of Trifecta for me. Reunited and it feels so good!
Note, according to CFA the specs and tuning for the newer wave of Trifectas are identical to earlier editions. So maybe Astral Plane had a psychosomatic effect on me, who knows. But this Amber Radiance sounds lovely.

Looks awesome!
Just had some of the best customer service I’ve experienced in my life from Campfire after ordering a few pieces in the Black Friday sale. Honestly, as a customer outside of the US I wouldn’t hesitate to buy stuff directly from them in the future and aim to support this company as much as I can going forward (always enjoyed CFA IEMs anyway). I know it’s nothing to do with trifecta but thought it’s important to promote this kind of behaviour so yeah! Great company!
Honestly the RMA process I had with Campfire was the best I've had for any product ever. Agreed, CFA gave me fantastic and rapid support with some issues on my first Trifecta. They provide a model of service other IEM manufacturers should emulate.Honestly the RMA process I had with Campfire was the best I've had for any product ever. Just superb.
Indeed-- I can echo all of this and have my own Amber Radiance incoming

What did you order? Black Star?
I ordered an open box Atlas and a b-stock IO. Atlas sounds very much as good as I remembered it, I really gel with its huge, balls to the wall sound and LOVE the build and design. Won’t be letting go of this one. The IO Is also really competent and took me by surprise a little, it sounds superb with strings etc but is a little bit of a genre specialist. What did you order? Black Star?

My Dark Prism came in earlier than I anticipated! First time actually owning the Trifecta and am so far loving it. Haven’t bumped into any problematic tracks yet!
Nice would love to see more pictures of this one!
