Someone here has it and told me that it had some interesting aspects- not all of them good.  Last I heard he was trying to find out if it was only his doing it or all of them do it.  Haven't heard it myself- I had two offers to listen to it but bought my 120ll before I did.  Now I don't want to.

No official app just yet,but there is a very easy workaround using the excellent BubbleUPnp android app,been playing about with it all day and its pretty stable,as long as you have a decent wifi or 3G/4G SIGNAL.
 
1-open up the app
2-change renderer to AK
3-go into cloud in the library menu and select Tidal
4-enjoy!
 
dont forget to connect you AK unit to the same stream.

Don't have a android device with me to try. Were you able to stream a high-res file via bubble UPNP?

yes i can stream hires via upnp,remember to check the disable box for downsamplimg.
 
Also tried to install audiocast on my mx4 pro which is rooted but the xposed installer isnt yet compatible with my phone,this could have activated spotify.

how is the 100ii driving >300 ohms phones? does it need a separate amp? I see that the output impedance of this is at 2ohms which is high I guess for power hungry phones. can it drive well? how about the 120/120ii?

It does not sounds good driving high impedance cans with AK100ii Ak120ii or even my AK240.
I would say you need a portable amp for better sound quality.

Needs a separate amp. The amp it the bottleneck of the AK. Tried driving HD800 with it and it does poorly.

I used the 3M thin Dual Lock on my DX50 & JDSLabs C5, held like nobody's business. Looked good, too, as no more rubber bands.
