Just received mine within 4 weeks of ordering. Using them with some FH5 tips and an x5III. anyone interested in the FH5 ( just kidding!).
They sound amazing for such cheap iem's but i guess no one is surpized by this anymore in such a long thread.

Nicehk cable you have is fitting well with dm6? no problem with mmcx connectors? For me they also sound really good with fast and neutral armature sound, but also as armature or their tuning they have a little bit too much treble in 2-3 khz region. So i hear some harshens in voices there after coming from dynamic driver earphone. I haven't tried cooper cable yet.
But people who are looking for technical, correct, neutral and fast sounding iem - these are really good.

What cables are you guys recommending with the DM6? I can see most are using copper but which kind? Is there any diff between pure copper and crystal copper? Which is better to get?
Also, is this cable a good match to the dm6?

There really can't be any reason to spend that much money on a cable for a headphone. I should get my BGVP copper cable today; will update and take pics.

DMS (yt reviewer) mentioned that on Zeos's last stream, as he described them as very harsh and (surprisingly) grainy, he tried both foam and silicone tips, it was brief impression tho.
He is not treble sensitive as he recommended the andros and the dt1990.
Well my impressions a little bit the same. They don't have smoothness in sound (treble). But as i see i am the only one that is hearing this there. But i didn't now if it's armature specification or bgvp made it to sound so. Before that i had only hybrids. So was used to dynamic driver smoothness and more warmth.Sound of dm6 is not bad ofcourse, it has many qualities i like, but this harsheness in some treble region i don't like. As it's a little bit uncomfortable to listen especially when using in higher level. I am not very sensitive to treble, but bgvp has some interesting tuning there. The feel is like some spikes is stabbing your brain when listening to vocals. I used to hear a little bit smoother sound. Especially after my beloved b&w p7 that are very smooth everywhere, the sound of dm6 are really harsher and "different". Perhaps it's more technical and correct but really not for relaxed listening. It has audiophile quality, but i don't think this harsheness or even sibilance should be in the treble anyway. For example tin audio T2 i have sound more smooth and warm for me (ofcourse don't have such details in sound). It's my opinion yet, but perhaps cooper could make it sound not so harsh.

You have to go copper with the dm6 mate. I have the cheap 16.00 copper by **** and hear the difference right off the bat. The silver/copper plated is a no no in my humble opinion. I hear what you are describing with the silver/copper and I take it worse of with all silver plated. Also, the **** snaps will nice right into the socket without any issues. Love the quick click.
Well in a week i will receive fool cooper cable and i will be able to try it with it. It will be really interesting to see if cable could change things i described. As i like dm6 a lot for what they are, but yet treble problems makes them a little bit difficult to listen. Now using default cable that was included.

In a week or two i will have my decision made. Well... it will be good time to sell (it's just a small possibility) during Chinese holidays season when bgvp guys finally will take a rest.. .

The word "soon" in this contęxt has too much speed in it's meaning when thinking about holidays in china and bgvp as a manufacturer speeds. But dm6 really deserves to be seen as an art for what they are (even i have some problem with them yet). I also would like to see dm6 the same as you introduced to all of as and i hope i will solve this problem somehow. If not, dm6 is a cake to many,,, Users who are viewing this thread
