Hello? Anyone here? I reckon it's time to wake this thread up with some BGVP related news. Here is my Brand Spotlight review of a new brand - THHiFi's two newly launched IEMs - Face Red and Character. THHiFi is BGVP's sister company. Read on to know how they sound, graph and compare to IEMs from popular brands like BGVP, Moondrop, Tanchjim and TRI. Enjoy!

Hey guys! Here's my review of BGVP Melody single dynamic driver IEM that comes with swappable tuning filters and jack terminations. Read to know what I think, how it graphs and comparisons with other popular DD IEMs in its price segment.

I take it that is the BGVP DM9. A great driver mixture and if I was in the financial zone I would go for it. Strangely I am one of the few people who seemed to like the BGVP NS9, which I still use a lot with an upgraded balanced cable and the ubiquitous Spiral Dots.

You are right buddy, it is DM9.

I'm big fan of the brand since DM6, altough apart from the Zero I have only tried DM6, DM7 and DM8, still own the DM7.
Fortunately for me I was in the fin-zone and could afford the gamble. And:
ragrets.jpg

Fantastic lush mids (Sonion BA), lot of sparkle in the top but no sibilance or grainy treble. Bass does not bleed into mids like in DM8 (one of the biggest shortcomings of DM8), not muddy but punchy - nice driver there. Plenty of details, good separatioon. And the scene - wide af, excude my language with great holography and instrument positioning.
Reminds me Kinera Nanna a bit but with much better bass (Nanna has almost perfect tuning to my ears but I cant stand the aenemic bass response there).

Are you referring to the dm9 in the description? I was thinking to press the button and buy it 'cause I'm looking for a neutralish tuning without a lot of bass quantity but good quality, and the driver configuration at that price is very competitive if the tuning is right.
