how is the treble of T1 in comparison to k70*?is it sharp, metallic and fatiguing like the k70*?and how is the detail retreival and soundstage?better than akg?
thanks.
EDIT: one more thing,is the fit snug and nice like the hd650 or is it clumsy and stupidly loose like something like k701 and d5000?

Just make sure you don't use your ipod or your anonymous sony cd/dvd player for T1.

garbage in, garbage out.

Just goes to show how different we all hear, and how different our needs are.
I guess you have try them for yourself before buying.

I'm almost the same. I prefer my T1s to my HD800s, but I do like the K701/2s (but they are not as much).

It doesn't budge. they are extremely comfortable and can be used while laying down.
I do (like most headphones that I own) have the headband maxxed out. They are nothing
like the vise grip nature of the HD650's.

What drive tubes are you using with your Woo6 right now? I used to hate my K701s, but after getting my WA6 I've found them quite listenable after finding the right tubes to tame their treble and bring out the lower midrange. I also understand why their soundstage is praised so much. Never really was impressed with it until I found the right rectifier for the WA6, now it's both huge and actually present.

Still, majority opinion is that the T1 presentation is not much like the K701, and it seems like where I will be going next. I have no worries about the WA6 being able to drive them, especially using the high gain variant drive tubes.

Even though the T-1's have 600Ω of impedance, they act more like a highly efficient 300Ω headphone.
On my Luxman P-1, I have 3 equal headphone jacks (have no idea why they put 3, but it comes in handy in conversations like this one), and I was comparing my HD-800's, T-1's and HE-5's and they were all surprisingly close in volume.
I was able to do my critical listening analysis (sounds cool, no?) without changing the volume at all. Of course, if I wanted to go nuts (don't say it) I suppose I could break out an SPL meter and truly try to match the volume for better accuracy when comparing. But I really just wanted to listen to music and get down to the root of why most of us are here in the first place, just with 3 different headphones

In short, what makes you guys feel this way?

I recently heard the 800 for the first time. I'm now very interested in the T1 and may bite.

Well, now I'm definitely emptying my wallet to buy the T1 asap. Can't help resisting any more not to ruin myself.

Does anybody know a reseller in Europe which has them available right now (at lower than 890€ if possible)?

Hey immtbiker,
How the P-1 drives the T1 and the HD800? Which one do you like better out of the P-1 and why?
Thanks.

Here's my thoughts (still valid 3 months later) between the HD800 and T1:

In short, T1 more vivid and reality than HD800, to my ear.
