Will be interesting to listen to your impressions about Aune T1 and DT770 80 Ohm. I've got both of them and result is...ambiguous. Own Aune less than month, so it's too fast for conclusions.

I just got a Schiit Bifrost and Asgard 2.  I'm really impressed at how much better the DT770-80's sound with that combo.   I had been using a FiiO E17/E09k combo before.  Much better bass control, just the right amount of highs, smooth if a little recessed in the kids.  It's a really good combo for these phones.  I also have some AKG K712's  that sound great with the Schiit stack, but the improvement isn't as obvious as it is with the Beyers...

E5/6/7 are very poor amps, I'd recommend stepping up to something better. E10 and E17 seem more worthwhile in the lower price range.

Ahh, thanks for the tip. I'd rather pay more and get a better value for price than not getting what I need for a cheaper price.
