Headphoneus Supremus
Nice design... looking forward to take a look at them at IFA I guess.
Very good. After all, it's a pro tool, not another "audiophilic" equalization headphone.

too many pseudo pro tools we have been having around since audio hype![]()
I don't know much about cables, can the new cable connector accept a balanced cable without having to mod the actual headphones?
It's supposed to be somewhat standard.

There is much more pseudo-audiophilic products then pseudo-pro tools...
Look at those wanna-be high-end Chinese companies ...
Balanced requires separate left and right ground . This connector has common ground so balanced would require significant modification

There is no such thing as a balanced headphone connection in a PRO world, its a nonsense ..
When your balanced connection is better then a regular (un-balanced), it is mean only one thing:
The amplifier manufacture made the unbalanced connection tuned badly. It is not a conspiracy, this is a real world example...
The superiority of balanced connection in headphones is a fake.
Yes, you right. this guide is incorrect...
because unbalanced Hugo, sounds better then all wannabe "balanced" setup i hear before (pono/PHA-3/Alo portables/etc)...
So ...
