Exciting news! An update to the DT-770, a personal favorite. I can't wait to see what other people think about it.

    Hm, I wonder if it's a substitution for T70...

One of the best headphones, when comes to sound, comfort, price, durability, cheap parts (headband, earpads) is DT770.
I will follow this headphone closely. (I hope that hadband is not fixed though, I loved the way you could exchange it on DT770)
  5. UtzY
    I hope not! :D

same here[IMG] I hope, they will get rid off of those coloured unnatural highs like in T90, DT1350

Looks to be a "tesla 2.0" driver.
    What's new?
  8. Vartan
    Yes it's Tesla 2.0.

Looks like an updated DT-770 with Tesla installed.
Could be they wanted to offer Tesla at a lower price, but not drop the price on headphones like the T70.
I'm guessing the suggested retail price will drop after the new headphone "Wow" factor has gone away.

    Looks like a Sexy Beast!
Can't wait to see what my favorite German headphone company has come up with.

image.jpg sexxay... imho it's one of the best proportioned beyerdynamic . the yoke on the professional models always bothered me, sorry, i am being fickle, but yes, I hope the voicing would be closer to the 32 ohm model whose highs are more to my personal taste.

Sorry, I don't understand this post. What does 'great to molest as a thing' mean? And what is 'jouice'?
  15. deafdoorknob
'jouice' as in "juice" as in power.

it's very sexy and well made, more so than any of the studio lines beyerdynamic has done.

rugged but refined like a professional camera I can't keep my hands off it and ended up spending 40 minutes with them which felt like forever under show conditions
