Thank you @hanselmann
 !

along with my profile name, you'll be surprised with the fact that I have 10 or so sets of beyerdynamic headphones :)

That's about my level as well :-)

Hello, they are not the same. For T 90 and T 70 it's a one-block design with click mechanism. For DT 1770 Pro it's a design with two brackets, that are screwed together from tzhe inside.
We thought for a professional headphone, it would be more important to have it user servicesable with visible screwes than having seamless surfaces.

Very welcome...

I'm interested in the DT1770, yet at the same time, I'm wondering if there's any news on the T1 G2. I'm asking because I may go T1 if there's improvement over the 1st gen T1. Anyway, I'd looked at the T1 thread and saw posts about the 1st gen T1.....

Fantastic.  I already figured out how to disassemble my T90's blocks, should I need to replace them, I even checked to see if they are interchangeable with my DT770pro's headband end blocks, and they are.

A couple of guys here said that their T90 blocks started cracking, last year, I think.  I emailed Beyerdynamic and they told me that they don't carry those parts as spares and T90 must be sent to Germany.  Good grief.  Well, at least the DT770/990pro blocks look quite good on T90.

Anyone else notice the DT 1770 weighs 388 grams excluding the cable? The DT 770 is only 270 grams w/o cable.
It's not LCD-XC heavy, but still a noticeable increase from the 770 that might hamper long-term comfort.

My New Balance 991 is  388 grams excluding lacing , my Nike free run is about 250 gram w/o lacing...
The NB 991 is much more comfortable.

The Tesla magnet structure is much heavier than the old one... Still comfort of e.g. the T1 or the T90 is very good, so I don't think thats going to be a problem with the DT1770.

Strange, on my screen it says ''Available at authorized resellers''.

Mine as well.  A quick google search only brings up a few European shops.

I'd love to see DT150 TESLA version. It would be true late mornig listenign master!

T70 is just to bright with nasty peaks about 6kHz (I was giving it a chance for 1 year of use)
DT770 Has nasty and brutal trebles
T1 is nice but too expensive for regular listener
DT880 to lean for my taste...

I enjoy DT150. But clarity could be a bit better.
