Yes, most definitely!

When the price of the DT1770 comes down by half(as has happened with T70/90) it will be a fairer comparison; for the 1770 that is..

i think dt150 is a lucky fluke , beyerdynamic didn't expect  to make such a great headphone. When dt150 was design , beyer target broadcaster , tv crews , not audiophile world for sure...  but somehow this awesome headphone came to live :)

I doubt beyer repeat such lucky fluke for a second time ...

Agree but it's not unique in that way. For example the HD25 wasn't originally designed for musical enjoyment but nevertheless is a similarly fine headphone for music. Bother copper bottomed classics that have stood the test of time and can last a lifetime.

They make a mockery of 'designer' headphones

Me again!

Currently DT150less but I'm sure I'll get what would be a third pair after dabbling with a modern pair of phones. Can be brought and sold at a small profit each time!

Is €133/$150 a good price for the DT150? I'm strongly considering to buy them. Just bought a pair of HD650 for $300 but want a closed pair as well.

I'm using Audio-gd C-2 (warm setting) and Audio-gd DAC 19 - would they be a good match for DT150?

If buying new that's a good price for the DT150. No experience with the amp you mentioned sorry.

It is new. Thank you, good to know it's not overpriced. The amp and DAC are fairly new so I'm not surprised, no worries
