They are supposed to be very stiff to fit.Yeah, but how? The phones has no space to allow wrapping them, the edges don't allow that. Thank you for your answer!

Ah! Ok, I never thought they could work like that. But it seems very logical, now that I'm seeing these pictures. Alright then, thanks a lot for your answer, I'll try to do that! They are supposed to be very stiff to fit.

So what all ear pads can be fit on the DT 150? I see that people have used HM5 ovals.

Ideally, pads with a 105mm outer diameter at the minimum. The Brainwaz Ovals will fit, but with quite a bit of stretching. Same with the Brainwavz Rounds due to their shorter 100mm height (versus the Ovals' 110mm). The Ovals are decent, but I think something flatter with a larger ear opening might work better sound-wise.

I sold mine recently, but had I kept it I would have given these pads a shot. I have one of their Sheepskin pads, and they are of very high quality, certainly much better than Brainwavz Sheepskins.
I had HM5 but after many tests clear winner is original DT100 + 3mm riser.

Where does one get a 3mm riser? Have you tried the angled HM5 PU or Velours?

IMO, best pads for these are the Shure 1540 Alcantara pads. Coupled with some micropore tape over the drivers, they make them sound incredibly close to the HD650.

I have used Brainwavz angled pleather memoryfoam earpads for my DT150 for years... I love the sound quality with that earpads (I have tried many different versions before). They started to decay so I have tried another angled memoryfoam earpads from an Aliexpress seller. I have selected 110mm version and they fit super easily (may be 105mm version can fit as well). So far I am liking them very much. I wish I could compare it to my old Brainwavz... I have compared it to pleather and velour earpads from different sellers and the attached one delivered the most balanced sound. The plush side of this earpad is very comfortable -although it can make you sweat if you're wearing them in hot weather.
I bought them from here:

Couldn't help myself, and bought a second pair to replace the ones I previously sold. No regrets whatsoever.
Some changes I noticed compared to the previous, older pair:
1. Packaging. The new ones come in Beyer's new black and orange packaging versus the plain white box of the previous pair.
2. Screws. The screws that hold the drivers in place are now Torx screws instead of Phillips.
3. Inner cup "bass port" design. Perhaps the most significant change. IIRC, the older model had a circular recess in the center of the cup that regulated its bass response. Adding any kind of damping inside this recess (e.g. cotton, Dynamat) would reduce the bass emphasis. The new model has a different design with the circular recess now partially covered, as depicted below:
.
As I no longer have the previous pair, I'm afraid I can't make any direct comparisons.
I've tried a couple of different pads, and can confirm that the ZMF Verite BE2 Lambskin pads work beautifully in terms of both sound quality and comfort, with a much improved bass response compared to stock.
Absolutely blow away the DT 770, to my ears.

Can confirm that 105mm diameter works perfectly.

Update:
I've tried ten pairs of pads so far and have found the Brainwavz Oval Pleathers to be my favourite sonically. The pads shared above by @Baycode should work well too, having a similar shape, and a somewhat larger inner and outer diameter.
Pads tested so far:
Update: I've had the chance to try the DT100 velour pads, and without the foam pieces installed, these are now my recommendation for the DT 150. They retain the stock sound most closely with similar levels of isolation, but with a much better perception of air and openness.

I tried a newer black/orange box DT 150 and owned an older pair. They did seem to sound a little different than I remembered but I assumed it was unit variance or something; but seeing this may mean they actually do sound a little different, but would have to compare side by side to know for sure. I know Beyer does silent revisions on their headphones off an on.

Since the headphones are more rectangular, do the aftermarket oval pads have any fitting issues? I'm debating if I should just grab the DT100 pads or ZMF BE pads.

Just to add to the pad suggestions, I've been very happy with ZMF Ovals in lambskin. I don't see them mentioned often but they fit well, are super comfortable, and, for me, the pads seem to fix most of auditory flaws I was experiencing with the stock pads. Easily my favorite closed-back headphone/pad combo for the money.
