There's measurements if you care to search online. Only your ears will answer that for shallow insertionHow similar are Sednaearfits and Spiral dot in overall shape of the flange? Do both work for shallow insertion?

I think it's for grippy enough on attaching the tips to your iem nozzle. Also in some packaging like mine, it comes with tip adapters. Will be easier to attach to that adapter.

Structural integrity I think. The cores of the Final E tips are really quite firm/rigid, and they really grip tightly to the IEM nozzles. What purpose do those ribs serve?
I got the Tennmak ultra strong that I ordered, they are wonderful. Extreme comfort, it's really like not having them, and I'm really enjoying the sound. Maybe they give a little more bass emphasis but without compromising clarity.
I read that someone cuts them in order to modify the signature, if I wanted a little more treble should I cut a small piece and shorten them?

Yes, that also leads to a deeper insertion. It's way more comfortable for me if you cut the tip vs the whole tip. Since you have 6 pairs, try cutting one pair in different proportions like 1/2 and 1/3. For me, 1/3 goes perfectly for my LZ A6 and LZ A7, which opens the soundstage a bit more without making the treble harss since the foam material still absorbs some high-mids and treble peaks.I got the Tennmak ultra strong that I ordered, they are wonderful. I bought some SednaEarfit Xelastec ear tips...I really like them, just wish I would have gone a tad bit smaller.
I also bought some Ludos memory foam tips...six pair for under $10, the fit is great for me.

Looks like the tips that come with the KZ S1 / S2 / DQ6need help identifying this tips,

The KZ looks thinner and without the colored stem, but the shape is very similar
I use the Azla std M size as well, and I also have the Xelastec M size. They both fit me well. However the Xelastec is more grippy so it's harder to push inside. It might give the impression that it's bigger. But visual inspection says they're the exact same size.Hi..

I realize this might be too late, but I don't suggest going down a size (or two!) I would suggest pulling your ears to help push them in instead.
(But then again the Xelastec size M is out of stock everywhere in Tokped, I don't think you'll be able to get one even if you wanted to.)

Lol. I planned to put it on B2 (otw from Ali) since it have wide nozzles, i thought it will fit.
I have trouble with sticky rubber like Sony's Hybrid even at my ideal M size, still fighting a lot to fit and itchy
