Sharing my best tips so far, may not works for everyone since our canals are unique.

The real Best of two world is here!

JVC spiral dots known for producing best sound, wider soundstage, reducing harsh peaks, and cut mid bass bleed, however for some people its isolation isnt the best to offer.
I got idea from my sony hybrid, and I bought symbio W also, took out symbio W orange memory foam and put inside JVC spiral dots, works quite good actually but a bit stiff.
So i got my spare comply memory foam S series, the one with wider pore. cut it, and put into JVC spiral dots. The result is amazing!! you got the best from JVC spiral dots with extra isolation and extra fit but not too tight and smoothly molded to your ear canal shape.
Anyone try this with cheapo foams like the ones from Aliexpress? Or would the comply sound better even though it's on the inside?

Ive tried different type of foam too :
cheapo foam (non memory foam) like the one inside sony hybrid --> too soft, cant molded into your canal well
mandarinES symbio inside memory foam (the orange color) --> a bit stiff, tight can be a little discomfort for long session
cheapo memory foam (normally with white, blue, red, black colors around) --> small pores, a bit stiff but can do

For me the best one is comply type S because they have bigger pores, so softer than symbio or that cheapo memory foams, but still it is a memory foam (have ability to fill your ear canal)
i know its not cheap to sacrifice a bit pricey foam eartips but hey how much are they comparing to your beloved iems and made them into best tips to company. Its totally worth.

you can try first if you already have cheapo memory foam also, if you dont like you can just always ditch the foam away

An update for people just looking at this general thread. If you experience issues with many different in ears like I have personally it doesn't hurt to try something totally different. I tip rolled a lot with Andromeda and I couldn't get a superb fit (good was possible but either sound or comfort was a slightly off for me and I often found it to he a bit loose). Recently I tried etymotic with their tri flange deep insertion and it has really gotten me the best seal I ever had. Really worth a try for people with small ear canals like myself

Does anyone have either of the small & medium sony triple comfort tips and can tell me their O.D. (MM or Inch)? I'm thinking about buying some and depending on the mfg I fall between s/m sizes. Plus some asian mfg tips run smaller.

For instance I use small shure foam olives but medium westone silicones.

Bueller? Bueller?...

Head-direct silicon biflange has been my go-to. Very clean sound, excellent seal, the best bass response and treble clarity out of any I tried. I've used them since my Triple-fi pros, and currently with my UM Mavericks. Note I have larger ear canals, might not work for smaller ear canals.

Thanks for the guide.

Question: what are the size of those? Won't the silicone keep the foam from fully expand because normally foam (fully expanded) is a tad bigger than silicone size right? so compressing foam inside silicone will leave it at half compressed form?
Do you compress it before insertion like symbio?

I was fiddling with Campfire Atlas right now, and MAN, does CP100S from Spinfit hit the spot, like lotion for calloused hands :)

Thank you for this suggestion. I love my Atlas but have had a very hard time finding the right tips. I'm always a LARGE, but with CP100S inserted very deeply, I get a fantastic seal, great comfort, and perfect sound. May not need to pursue CIEMs after all...

Oh yeah youre right, i forgot to mention that you need the foam size half/1 size smaller than the silicone tips. For me, i go with spiral dots ML and put comply s type size M inside it. THe comply foam isnt so stiff
and yes, you can compress it before insertion, and let it forming back in your ear canal
