Im currently looking at the UE TF10 sold by amazon. seems quite cheap. but i am open to any other suggestions.

It really depends on what kind of music you like but the TF10s are very fun to listen to and enjoyable. Wouldn't be a bad choice at all.

i listen to mostly pop and rock. Journey ish kind of songs.

It's highly recommended now for your musical tastes, but one warning - a good seal/fit is hard to achieve for a lot of people. Just something to keep in mind, take some time reading the reviews and threads regarding the TF10s and make your decision.
I own a pair and got my friend a pair and we both get perfect seals, but many people have fit issues.
