[Captain ?degard]

This might sound very shallow, but I really like bass, so I started wondering: what are the bassiest headphones there is? Also, which ones are bassiest ones that desn't require a headphone amp (to be run off the D2 in any case). Oh, and headphones, not IEms or plugs ^^

DT770/80 - maybe not THE bassiest, but the one with the most bass, that still sounds good... or HD25-1, but I don't like them comfort-wise.

ATH-ES7 has nice, clean and pucnhy bass too. That is, if you're NOT looking for bloated and muddy bass. The ES 7's bass is tight clean and punchy.

Never heard any of them, but from what I have read these have lots of bass:
* Audio-Technica ATH-L3000
* TakeT H2

He is looking for bloated bass. Thast's the whole point.

From experience, PS-1 and GS1000 with flats. I haven't heard the TakeT but I hear it has a lot of very nice bass.

Very early production K240 sextet and the K290 surround both have lots of bass.

PROlines, Edition 9, good quality bass, and very good extension...the best I have heard out of any heapdhone...
