Does anyone else started getting issues when booting and having the dongle plugged in?
I now get this every time I boot my computer and the dongle is plugged in.

Yes me too, sometimes my other usb devices (keyboard, mouse) do not work until I unplug/replug the receiver. I did not report it because I'm using Linux with a custom udev rule so I figured nobody cares.

I'm still trying to figure out how to best charge the Penrose. I've been using one of the smaller Apple chargers plugged in to the wall but it does seem to take a good 4-5 hours to charge. I'm wondering if it's ok to use one of the bigger Apple chargers, like those packaged with an iPad? The output rating indicates "5.2V" and I know Audeze says any charger should be rated at 5V, so I'm wondering if that's too much or if the extra .2 V doesn't really matter.

Gotta say, the geekria head band cushion thingy made it look a whole lot better than the dekoni nuggets, goes with the grey cups too. I hope audeze comes out with stickers or something to cover the ugly green logo on the headband sides, that's my only complaint so far lol

I use the Apple 96Watt USB-C Charger for my MacBook pro (20.5V@4.7A), without any issues. Chargers these days negotiate the appropriate charging speed and voltage between the charger and the device, so anything should be fine. That charger supports the following power profiles:
15 watts (5 volts @ 3 amps), 27 watts (9 volts @ 3 amps), 45 watts (15 volts @ 3 amps) and 94 watts (20 volts @ 4.7 amps)
So I say the more powerful USB-C charger (or USB-A) the better. It shouldn't over-charge it if you use a good quality one.

How long does it take to charge from the low battery notification?

Can you do a tutorial for a noob? :D

Thanks
I decided to publish my patched AudezeHQ.exe files that point to my own server with the latest versions. It should work as fine as with Audeze's server, but I have to warn everyone that everything you do, you do only at your own risk.

What patch does?
Code:
Replaces this:
https://audeze-penrose.s3.amazonaws.com/AudezePenroseFW.xml
... by this:
https://krasovs.ky/./././././././././././././FW_V_0_1_7.xml
... or this:
https://krasovs.ky/./././././././././././././FW_V_0_1_8.xml

/././. is just a filler to has the same string length.
Steps:
  1. Choose version you want to update.
  2. Replace original AudezeHQ.exe (path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Audeze\AudezeHQ) by patched one.
  3. Launch it as usually, go to settings, click "Update firmware".
Code:
AudezeHQ.exe (0.1.7) SHA1 hashsum: f3e4a897d167fe0ae7593c6dbf75157ab26ad11b
AudezeHQ.exe (0.1.8) SHA1 hashsum: 26c76b6636a9013e83e26ef6610e58f731e55e02
