High time we have a separate thread for Audeze Mobius impressions/review, yes?
This thread is filled with shipping issues, etc... hard to get a hit on what the product actually sounds/feels/performs.

I agree, but I think we should wait until at least all of the indegogo orders have been shipped out before we can really start getting some solid impressions.

I hope so! But I also really like my DT770s so if it sounds like them but with Bluetooth, virtual surround, head tracking, microphone, and several eq presets, I wouldn't be mad at it.

Hm... Mobius should be better in all areas except soundstage(and weight), I'd wager, simply because it's planar tech.

DT770 is an entry level headphone, it's 'okay' but the Mobius should certainly be an improvement.

It's been a long while since I heard a dt770, I can't say I recall anything special.

Dangerous way of thinking, just because something is Planar or Dynamic doesn't really mean much at all in the grand scheme of things.

But like you said, it's the lowest of the 3(770/880/990), and pretty old..! New planar VS old dynamic.

So? HD580 is ancient and still better than 90% of the headphones you see today

Also, 770/880/990 aren't 'tiers' they are different headphones, 770 is closed, 880 semi-open and 990 open.

I'll stand by my general assumption that new planar beats old dynamic. Including HD580. I never liked DT's at all, tho. Closed vs closed is a harder call, but I assume I know the winner.

my Focal Elex is pretty good and can beat my other planars in many ways.

And that's a new dynamic, so I would also expect good performance. Compared to DT770-level phones, at least. It probably beats HD660, but I'm not familiar with these 2 very much.

Did you read their website in terms of the expected shipping times? Likely no.
Did you pay attention to the many updates from Audeze regarding the hiss improvements and new shipping schedules? Likely no.
We have seen too many whining customers that clearly do not do their research or understand how crowdfunding and pre-orders work... just stop, please.
