There is a head-fi meet coming up in April, you could try them there.  i'll be bringing a pair

Nope.  Unless you can solder, then you can convert your 1/4" for all of $5.

While I would love to stay to be able to attend, we are scheduled to fly home right after Crossroads and the New York Audio Show.  Schucks, and my old stomping grounds too!

Look up Q-Audio, Toxic and DHC.

Q-Audio,Toxic and DHC seem to be popular here (headfi), but it's difficult to find reviews on these cables. Of course that doesn't mean that they aren't excellent cables. Any impressions on these cables (your usual suspects or mine)?

Just pointing out that your list is mostly HD650 time period cables and my list from the LCD time frame.  Just don't pay more than $250 no matter where you go.
