The real irony here is, I started watching Boardwalk Empire, with the LCD 2, I can't watch the show with the my HE 4, since the voices sound a little different

Hello. In a few days i will be picking up a pair of Audeze LCD- 2, and i was wondering which revision model i should get?  Rev 2.2 or fazor model?  What will i gain or lose if i end up with the fazor model? Any changes with the midrange with the fazor? Anyone who tried both please provide your experience.

I don't have experience with any other revisions, but apparently the fazor is supposed to help with imaging, and over-all clarity.

I just received my LCD 2 w/ fazor and I am in love, they are much better sounding than my previous HE-500, they sound similar in signature, but there's so much more detail in the LCD-2's sound.

It's been talked about the last 5 pages or so.  Sub bass is less present in the fazor model (according to everyone)  I can confirm it's not very present but I can't compare it to non-fazors.

I'll put it this way, my HE 4 has more Sub Bass than the Fazor'd LCD 2 :/ or better yet an HE 400 also has more Sub Bass than a Fazor LCD 2, is the HE 400 better sounding? By no means, but it does atm have more Sub Bass than the Fazor LCD 2, should you there for get the HE 400 over the LCD 2? No, the LCD 2 is a HUGE step up from the HE 400, minus how ever the sub bass :/

but hopefully that will be corrected soon

Then I guess and hope the pre-fazor LCD2 has sub-bass much better than 400's as that is the model I'm aiming to get right now used....

3000 baht and a bottle of Hong Thong sound like a fair asking price ? I'm in Pattaya, but I guess you knew that from the asking price

How do you find the sound and what exactly cables are you using? :)

I have 3 Silver Widows on my HD800's, HE-6's and LCD2.2's.

It's an excellent cable providing much greater clarity and details over the stock cables.
Bass is very deep and tight with excellent impact. Treble extends very high with no noticeable glare or distortion. I have also used the Silver Poison cable on the HE-6's which was also a major improvement on the stock HE-6 cable.

In short Toxic make great cables at very reasonable prices compared to some companies.

I would recommend you ask in the Toxic appreciation thread for more opinions of the other Toxic cables.
There will be less chance that you will be attacked by the cable naysayers or thought police.

I believe I heard subtle improvements with a better cable...the defining word here is subtle...as in not a night and day difference.

If it 's an LCD2 that was released just prior to the fazor'd LCD2, I would say the HE-400 has overall more bass than it.

If it's an older LCD2, then I dunno.  It probably will have lots of bass though.
