Astell&Kern To Debut SP3000T DAP and NOVUS IEMs at CanJam NYC 2024

I was wondering what the tube lifespan is like with these Tube DAPs? Are they also replaceable once it hits its end of life.
Go to the SP2KT thread and ask the people there if they have had to replace the tubes or if they’re replaceable. This is the SP3000 thread and we don’t have tubes in our DAP.

Edit; Must engage brain before writing responses to questions. How about going to the SP3000T thread and asking that question? 🙋‍♂️ Yes you’ve come to the right place, but nobody has one yet so my suggestion to go to the SP2000T thread is still valid.

Was the SP2KT not protected from EMI and ringing while in motion?
EMI protection on SP2KT was quite good, but it used NuTubes and not real tubes.
Woo Audio Mini which also uses real tubes do suffer from ringing and EMI for example, so wondering how things are doing here regarding this.

A couple of press release articles:

https://darko.audio/2024/02/astellkerns-sp3000t-is-a-dap-with-tubes-inside/

Interesting that price is less than SP3000. Also, a dual AKM 4499EX DAC configuration vs. quad AKM 4499EX's in the SP3000. I wonder if they've been able to tame the tube crackling that you hear between tracks with the SP2000T when you're in tube or hybrid mode?
Good thing that they still leave 2 filtering chips AKM in.
SP2KT sounded and measured that much dirtier than SP2K that I could not stand it and sold it off.
Hope the sound on a new DAP would be both clear and hiss-free this time except for tube one, where I also hope it would be minor.

From the AK U.S. website:

The photos online showing the VU meters look cool. I wonder what the "Tube Current" voltage option means... Line out to another amplifier such as the PA10 while in tube mode perhaps? That's something that the SP2000T can not do...

Hmmm, I can't lie, I'm pretty curious about this, as I love tubes, and my Tube Mini is just an inherently flawed device.

Will the SP3000T receive an Onyx Black version?

Also will there be protection cases?

Thanatos please sort your priorities out. You can’t buy a Raal 1995 Immanis AND an SP3000T in the same year. Heidelberg must come first.
Yeah I certainly can't buy any of those in the current year.

New Envy and Modhouse Tungsten basically depleted all the funds.
However it's been effective to request colors and whatnot early, so that it will be released in the "right" Version by the time I can afford it.

Unfortunately the SP3000T won't be available in Heidelberg this week. An early audition would've been nice
