@JasonNYC

Are Audio Sanctuary authorised too? Or can you only speak on behalf of N. America and not Europe?

Thanks.
I am pretty sure they are, but they are not listed on our authorized dealer list that is available on our global website. I will confirm with our UK team. I know there are a few dealers that are authorized, but missing from that list.

Guess the SR15 should be included? Screenshot_2019-01-18-23-12-43.png

Don't get me wrong - delighted by their service and will use them again.Just wondering about their status in respect to your company.

I'm almost positive they are. I will double check and make sure our team updates the list at the same time.

Guys, are you happy with the battery life of SR15?
Yesterday on a 3 hrs flight it went from 90% to 25% on the balanced output and volume level 75 plus my bluetooth remote control was on all the time. The screen however was on not more than 2-3 min.
I'm a little bit concerned...

Getting 6 hours with balanced AKG N5005 volume 95-100, WiFi and Bluetooth off. About an hour less when I stream. Not great, but about what I expected.

I did finally get an answer last night, but there was really no more information that what I had already posted here. Below is what was provided to me from our HQ team. As you can see, not much clarification on playlists since 1.10 firmware. I again asked for more info. I will stay on top of them.

After Firmware version 1.10, the method of using the playlist function was changed due to the Open APP service.
The reasons for the change is some Music App create playlist file(.m3u) and it confuses the AK product.
So The conclusions is below.

playlist function

before

playlist file(.m3u)
It worked in any folder

After

It must be in playlist folder under the root
And It works.

Ok, I am returning my AK15.

The answer from them is essentially a "You're boned" answer or they just don't get it.

I totally understand the playlist thing, but copying in a list using Android File Transfer/Android File Transfer for Linux/Dapper on a Mac all zero out the playlist as it copies to that folder. Copying to root works fine.

They've essentially broken playlists for all Mac users... back it goes.

Yep the balanced eats battery up really fast, and just having wi-fi on REALLY eats up battery fast. I don’t know if this can be optimized or not, but a little more juice would be nice. I bought an Anker 10000 mw battery pack to extend the life of my SR15.

Now I have FiiO M6 and I’m using that for streaming and it really lasts. I think it’s just the processor of the SR15 and the amp stage (to get that dreamy sound) that eats up battery faster.

Apparently the balanced out eats battery faster although on my FiiO M9 it lasted as long as the SE.
I have a power bank too however it is forbidden to charge your device on flight. That because I charged the SR15 to 90% at the airport, before the flight.
This may be the dealbreaker to me. If only the SR15's sound wasn't so enchanting... BTW I'd contemplated buying SPKM which has longer battery life however every single review says that the sound signature is completely different form SR15 which stops me. For now.

Not sure if you used the SPKM in the same way if you would get any better results- based on battery size. None of the AKs I’ve had were good on battery using balanced out and WiFi or Bluetooth.

For instance I tried the Shanling M5s and even on balanced the thing lasted and lasted compared to SR15.

But I didn’t like the sound as much
