I sent a message to Hidizs on messenger a couple of days ago, and got a reply today, I told them I didn't care for the AP80 anymore since I already bought an R3. They then asked if I wanted to cancel my pledge, so I replied back asking if they even have any tracking number for me. They replied that they are still waiting for production of the Red version, and should ship by the end of the month. Well, that's it for me with Hidizs, I already filed a dispute with my credit card. Their offer of a 92% refund was just not acceptable with all the grief and disappointment they gave me. Never buying any of their stuff anymore.

I loaded my microsd card with 117gb worth of files...the file list under "Format" does not list my FLAC files. Only m4a, mp3, ape, wav, and wma. But I can navigate to my flac files thru the "Files" tab/category.

Got mine today, I have a question. With the leather case am I meant to be able to close the flap part over the front of the AP80 because mine only goes around the back. Did I get a faulty one or is this how they are meant to be?

i am thinking this has more power than the r3 plus the treble is not too recessed like on the r3 ..

I've been comparing the ap80 to my ap200 and decided to let my 80 go. As amazing as the little device is I just prefer the sound of the 200.
So if anyone in the UK is after a grey with all the original parts in as new condition feel free to message me and we talk prices.

I did. The AP80 just reached it's 20k files limit and did not index the flac folders.

I forgot about the file limit. So I guess the mystery is solved - if the database is full, database-oriented navigation doesn't work right.
I just checked (I have over 7000 tracks) and my 92 FLACs are all identified.
