AP80 - Hidizs next portable Hi-Res music player

I've got AP80Pro Copper edition and burning in right now.
It is very cute and powerful and sounds well for its price and size, but I cannot connect Hiby music from iPhone.
Both AP80Pro and iPhone are finding each other, and iPhone even shows it is connected (from AP80Pro, it fails), but cannot find AP80Pro from Hiby music.
I've seen some other guys in 5ch claiming that too.

Any idea I can control AP80Pro from iPhone? Some setting I am missing? Or is it just a bug and all other people having the same issue?

I don't have bluetooth earphones so I can't test that, but I just wanted to try controlling AP80Pro from iPhone (or iPad).

It dont works that way not mistaken. The Hiby player only for playing music storage on SD card. But you can use AP80PRO to control the skip, play , stop, pause if you connected it for bluetooth receiver to phone.

Try contacting Hidizs for the original firmware. As they sent me 1 because I having some issue. If you look back my previous post

Why?
The official site of AP80Pro has Hiby music app connected to AP80Pro.
--> I found out it is AP80 and not AP80Pro so this is the reason?
But you will think you can connect to AP80Pro if you see this on AP80Pro official site.

I know it is Android, but who thinks it is not possible by iOS?
I cannot get AP80Pro shown here. iPhone finds AP80Pro on Setting app, but they never show up on Hiby Music app.

Hi I order one of this and now I'm having second thoughts due to the display being small. It's a tad too small for me.
Would Hiby R3 pro a better purchase? Thanks!

R3 Pro is a little bit bigger, but either one is manageable. M0 display is small, AP80 is just the right size for a small display, unless you have sausage fingers. Also, keep in mind, it runs HibyOS built around HibyMusic player and there is a setting to change the font size to make it more readable.

Does the pro also have the wobbly volume wheel?

I would call it "floating" rather than wobbly. It's the same in AP80 AL/SS/CU and AP80 Pro, consistently "wobbly" by design :D
