I received the theorem 10 minutes ago.

Android L+theorem = Facepalm... If you like the chipmunks best combo ever!!!! hahahahahaha

Didn't quite catch it. So, it does NOT work natively right? And with UAPP?

EDIT : ok, I found it works with UAPP. Was asking more to know about the native audio from a lollipop Nexus 6. Theorem + Nexus 6 native audio?

And I just asked HifimeDIY about the HiFime UH1 384Khz USB DAC, headphone amplifier and I2S/DSD interface. From a native audio Nexus 6, since it's already know that the 9018 works great.

I've just installed Android 5.0.1 in my Galaxy S4 and my Teac ha-p50 doesn’t work. With Kitkat has worked perfect during 2 month.
Anybody have found a solution?

Same thing happened to me when I updated my Galaxy S3 from KitKat to Lollipop 5.1 (CyanogenMod 12.1). Vamp Verza was detected, but it wouldn't play so I downloaded USB Audio Player Pro and now it only works through that app and nothing else. However, I swear it sounds better through USB Audio Player Pro than it ever did through Poweramp.

android 5.0/5.1 and (possibly) every rom based on that version have problems detecting and running external dacs through usb port. at least natively.
as now, the only 2 apps that works are UAPP and Onkyo player. I tested with iBasso MK2 dac/amp and OnePlus One 64gb.
I tried also Neutron, Poweramp, GMusic, Shuttle+ and several others: the DO NOT work now. I think we have to wait or use the above-mentioned apps.
I have to say I dont like their GUI (the one i like most is poweramp). But the software is really good and the audio part is spectacular

yet I've read about people say using 5.02 with a Fiio E17 ok (I think it was a Sony device ?)

not good at all - completely wrecked my use of my Fiio

practically all my content is streamed - Spotify, Netflix etc - so now can't use my DAC - great

My E17 is the only DAC I've tried that works flawlessly with Lollipop. I've tried the StonerAcoustics UD110 and Cozoy Astrapi and the only way you can get it to recognise natively (without apps) is by restarting the phone whilst it is plugged in. After you do that process it works without a hitch.

I've got a Z3 Compact (D5803) running stock 4.4.4 and Walkman App (8.5.A.3.2) with a DragonFly 1.2 and it changes colors properly with all 4 sample rates, 44kHz:green, 48kHz:blue, 88kHz:amber, 96kHz:magenta so it doesn't do any resampling.  I normally use UAPP with the DF because there's no volume control when using the Walkman App...

... The phone works great for me as it currently stands now that I've figured out how to fix the AptX bluetooth music streaming stuttering issue.

How did you fix the stuttering issue when streaming from an aptX source to your Z3 Compact (D5803) running stock 4.4.4?
