Android phones and USB DACs

So guys, it looks like Ive narrowed my choices down to two products. My criteria was, physical volume knob, works with Note 4, and portable size.

My only concern at this point is, are these going to be clear enough to not cause any hiss or static on super sensitive CIEMs, like my 1964 V4 Quads.

Will the Galaxy S3 be fully compatible (Spotify and others) with my Topping D1 MKII DAC?

I already have a Tablet (Huawei Mediapad) and  it´s compatible only with USB Audio Player Pro and I wan´t a new phone with full native support for using Spotify on it. Am I correct?

  Hi guys, Spain calling :)

I have a Topping D1 MKII and I read that it´s fully compatible with the Galaxy S3. I´m considering on buy a new phone for using the Topping, and my question is if only the Galaxy S3 will pair it or if it´s compatible with any other phones.

I will use with Spotify Premium... So I need fully compatibility, not using any program or something.

Best regards.

A list of standard USB DAC reportedly interworking with the Android-powered smartphone
Samsung Galaxy S 3:

stock Samsung Galaxy S 3 > digital USB audio out >> USB OTG cable (ID pin grounded) >> standard USB DAC >> amp >> headphones

. Topping D1 Mark 2 (USB DAC/amp):

It means that the native USB audio of the Galaxy S3 is compatible with the Topping D1 Mark 2.
It also means that the USB audio of USB Audio Player PRO is compatible with the Topping D1 Mark 2 (reliability of 99%).

. It means that the native USB audio of the Galaxy S3 is compatible with the Topping D1 Mark 2:

As the Spotify app can run on a stock Galaxy S3

Spotify backend infrastructure >> Internet >> Spotify running on Galaxy S3 > Android media player framework: native (internal) audio > internal DAC of the Galaxy S3 > internal amp of the Galaxy S3 >> headphones

and as the native USB audio of the Galaxy S3 is compatible with the Topping D1 Mark 2; like other generic music player apps, the Spotify app can run on a stock Galaxy S3 and output digital USB audio streams to an external Topping D1 Mark 2 USB DAC:

Spotify backend infrastructure >> Internet >> Spotify running on Galaxy S3 > Android media player framework: native (USB) audio >> Topping D1 Mark 2 USB DAC/amp >> headphones

. It also means that the USB audio of USB Audio Player PRO is compatible with the Topping D1 Mark 2 (reliability of 99%).

There are no such lists on the HibyMusic website for the time being.

let's also hope they do something about the DAC compatibility. Since v.1.1.1 I lost compatibility with Geek Out 450 on my stock Samsung S3.

I prefer current HibyMusic app over UAPP.
It looks nicer. Its only downside is scanning time. I hope they omit this process in the next version.

On my cellphone it only takes about 1 minute, maybe less for about 29 GB of music and 1100 songs. I don't think it is so slow.

Hey guys, is there a general consensus in this thread as to which android phone has the best headphone out?
Also, how would that compare to the new iPhone 6's headphone out?

I have a htc one m8 and the headphone out is not even close in audio quality to my iPhone 6 plus.
A further problem is with my Ifi dac I can't play Tidal or any other music service. I have heard that Lollipop will correct this problem. With Apple camera kit I can play anything I want.
