MS1s and SR225s are two of my favorite Grados that I've heard (MS2i and RS1 being the other two). You might want to swap the pads on the MS1 to get some more treble sparkle like your SR225s. Bowls, flats or modded HD414 pads would all be good choices. With any of those pads, I think the only thing you'll miss about the SR225s is the extra detail.

what types of earpads does ms-1 come with???

are they the ones that come with the sr 60 or the ones with sr-80+??

Glad you're still enjoying them! The first thing I'm going to do when I get a decent paying job is buy another pair of them. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how soon that will be, so I'm hoping the MS-1s will keep me happy until then.

Despite what I've heard about Alessandro's not-so-reliable communication via email, I got an email from George this morning telling me he'd added a mini adapter to my order (I emailed asking if one could be added), so hopefully that means they will be shipped out soon! I really hope to get them before Sunday when I move back to the dorm. A new pair of MS-1s would be a good way to kick off the new semester

They come with the SR-60 comfies. The SR-80 and up come with bowls.

i called themthis morning for an order change........they did answer the phone but the connection wasn't that good.

the guy told me they were still backordered.....didn't u get a receipt saying that would be shipped in 2-3 days.
