I've been looking at the K3003i today and see it is £704.63 on Amazon.  Would you guys who have heard it say it is worth that?

amazon uk is always way more expensive - unless you really want a 100% new, wait for some used bargain to show up - i bought my K3003 (non mic) from someone living in UK for 450 pounds - like new and with 14 months warranty left

as for the 'is it worth it?' part , we all know no iem over 200$ is really worth the asking price - but we buy them anyway

Everyone has different taste and budgets so hard to quantify if its worth it.  I paid 800.00  for a unused one a mfg. had for over a year and never opened it.  To me its the best 800. I have spent in this hobby :)

The good thing with the really expensive headphones is that you can always sell them if you aren't happy with them or want to raise money for other gear. So, if you buy a reasonably popular and expensive IEM (like the K3003) you can always sell it on Head-Fi and get most of your money back. For example, I enjoyed the TG334 for over a year and got something like 90 % of my money back when I sold it. So in the end for about $100 dollars I enjoyed a TOTL phone for something like 500 days. If you have the money go for it. The K3003 is definitely one of the best IEMs in the universe.

I still miss my K3003

LOL! Yep, and it certainly proves that in the end we're always governed by our feelings and never our reasoning...

why not buy it back ? you know you want them - besides you can always sell them after a while and start missing them again

i really love K3003, i only have it for like 3 months but i feel addicted to its sound - my re272 are one step from being sold - and they used to be my all time favorite iem (and i have already sold my other iems re262/600)

sometimes i think i wanna try JHA angie , but i wonder how much better is it gonna be and if spending 1000$ are justified coming from a stellar iem like K3003

perhaps i should upgrade instead from my dx90 to a better DAP ? choices....

No, the process to make up my mind to sell "my baby" was so bloody painful that I never want to experience it again! I cried for days! To make matters worse my wife took most of the money as I was paid in cash. I'll never do that again. Not a single dollar was spent on new gear...

Seriously, eventually I'm going to pick it up again. It may be expensive, but oh my gosh, what a phone it is...
