Normally I do not sell anything need to change now, I have too many of them which I am not using.

IE-800 is very addictive and I am addicted to it, K3003i, has to be really special to drag me away from it.

My beloved K3003i has a short in the right ear piece. I purchased them in dec from world wide stereo. Does anyone know what I have to do to get replacement and how long of time frame will it be?

I would imagine the best course of action would be to email AKG customer service along with a copy of your purchase invoice and go from there. How long it would take to resolve the issue would be anyone's best guess.

Hi guys! Can anyone check your box? I'm interested in buying second-hand K3003, but I need to know the serial number of them. The seller sent me this picture:

Where is the serial number here? Is it 1241 or 3219?

For some reason his box doesn't have the metal plate with serial number - should I worry about that?

Yeah that's the external paper box. The serial badge on the K3K is affixed to a piece of stainless steel which is glued to a foam block that is inserted into the K3K's display box. It can jostle loose or be displaced unfortunately. Depending on how old that unit is, it could be in the high thousands or low. I had two units, one was before 2,000, and the other was about 30,000 or so.

Soooo... The question remains the same - where is the serial number on my picture? :) I need someone who have such paper and metal plate to compare the numbers.

What I'm saying is the metal plate probably came loose at one point and isn't anything to worry about. There aren't any fake K3003's as far as I know

if i remember correctly (as i do not open it very often) there is the S/N inside the box

edit : i see you say the seller does not have the box

when did he purchase them ?

No, he is from local russian forum, there's no feedback system there. He HAS the box and everything, but for some reason there isno metal plate with s/n, that's why I'm asking about s/n on the paperbox. If it's 3219, I'm ok with it, if it's 1241 well... Not so much, I want 2000+ s/n
