Wait patiently for a week or three, depending on where you are in the world. We'll start posting next Monday.

Sure, we're up to 11525, we'll get a bunch more out T/W this week, and a ton M/T the following week. That should put us in stock, and we'll begin shipping to distribution for overseas markets.

Is the foam simply tucked into the ear-cup or do we have to pull the ear-pad off and place it underneath?

It just goes inside the earpad opening. It's the exact shape and size of the earpad so it's almost like a press-fit that you'll have to work in.

Seems like you should have received your email with tracking number a week ago, at least. My order was only about 20 before your order number and the AEONS have been here 5 or 6 days. Good idea to make contact and ask the question.

Looking at the receipt, It might be that the number on the receipt Ii got is not in fact my "order number" but a paypal "order ID" number for the transaction?? Will wait for Dan to look into it.
BTW, for reference, I ordered in April at Axpona from Dan directly.

Wow, the notice about the foam inserts had me reconsider my sale. If these do add more to that region, I might keep these. That region is the only thing that made me choose my NightOwls.

Thanks for the news. Not surprised, it's a beautiful headphone, both sound performance and product design. Congrats to Dan.

I'm digging the tuning on this headphone, and adding a modest boost (maybe 3db?) to the bass region is very cool. I don't think I ever need studio monitors to make music with these on my head. I'm speaking in terms of medium-loud levels. However in low volumes, I would assume this is lacking in bass extension, and thats because I'm coming from a t50rp modded headphone. My ears are still adjusting to this tuning, but it's very easy to do because the midrange isn't so uprising(not sure if thats the word for it).
