I'm using the Linum BAX with my U8's.

The main reason for getting this particular cable was ergonomics/comfort. I love that it's so low profile and doesn't have the annoying (in my eyes) ear hooks like the standard cable.

I've only tried Stock cable, Fonebone Cadence Silver (local DIY guy), and Linium Bax in addition to the toxic viper. The toxic viper is by far my favourite. It's made me really unwilling to send the A12 back for refit (slightly loose fit so far).

One word: Awesome. It hits real hard and deep.

I think my SE846 might hit deeper, but it certainly doesn't hit as hard, and not with so much details and layering either!

Hot dang, I thought the 846 was the final say when it came to bass.

So I'd have to look at this, and the AAW W500.

How does the sound differ between stock and the linum Bax and the toxic viper? and could you please link me to the shop for the toxic viper? I didn't find it for iems on the toxic cables site. Just 8ft long for Sennheiser HD 650. help is appreciated

I haven't used the stock and Linium Bax cable since the first few days I received my A12, which was way back in Apr/May. I'll give them a spin tonight/tomorrow and post some short impressions here!

I got the toxic cables 2nd hand, but I understand that the website isn't updated. I think @Toxic Cables is the go to though! Hope this helps.

Holy crap guys, this album sounds freaking incredible on the A12's with their incredible bass.  I listen to a lot of doom/stoner/sludge metal and a lot of it is very bass heavy.  This album is no exception, it starts off slow in the beginning, then a fast song follows then a slow song.  I'm happier everyday I went for the A12's instead of the A10's, this sludge metal is thick and freakin powerful.
