not everyone has super turbo-charged PCs
wink.gif

like me... I've only got a macbook and an older macbook that's half-dead.

Yeah, its funny how crypto-mining puts everyone's awesome 'gaming' rigs to shame.

Because if you think about it. PC Enthusiasts already accout for only a VERY small percentage of internet users. And of those PC Enthusiasts, those with rigs that are capable of high end 'gaming' are even even fewer.

But then, you throw all of our rigs into crypto mining and holy schiit, you are now taking a small percentage of a percent. And not just that, but we are talking AMD cards only. Nvidia cards are extremely inefficent at crypto-mining with Scrypt. A GTX 780 gets like 1/4 of the hashes an AMD R9 290x can get. And these are $600 graphics cards we are talking about. Hell, most miners use multiple cards.

I just happened to have a crypto-mining 'ready' card in my computer from my holiday sale :D

Maybe the value has increased lots since then or something. Was before the new year in any case.

Yeah. You have to account for difficulty increase from the day your friend stopped, along with the inflation rate of Dogecoin. So its very hard to pinpoint how many hashes he was getting to make less than $1 USD a day.

Dogecoin is much more difficult today, but its inflation rate is also pretty dam high which makes it 'less' difficult'.

Oh boy, I'm generally not that interested in AMVs but this one is super well made! Nice!

Fun fact: I've seen Equilibrium live two times so far. Kind of lost interest in them, but this track brings me back to my good old Pagan Metal days :D

Oh and 1000 bonus points for Nichijou.

You will always be a little pagen metal on the inside TYG.

You'll understand why M$ is hitler the moment you start doing CS related work!
Unix-alike master race!!!! Open source FTW!!!!

It's really just because windows is not developer-friendly really.

Good thing I'll most likely never have to do something along this line so.....Windows master race!
Convenience, ho!

I guess that's true even though I feel kind of ashamed for some bands I used to listen to back then....

A wise man named Linus Torvalds once said:

This guy is the absolute last person I would ever ask for his opinion on a Microsoft product.

Made Thai green curry with cod. Hmmm, that stuff was good.

I'm still not sure which kind of curry I like most....probably the standard yellow one :p

  Cod, the non fish fish.

Pangasius (Iridescent shark) is the worst.
Has pretty much no flavor at all.

One of our AAMML'ers requested a pic of a portable stack. So I made one. I'm using the word portable very loosely here.

Fish like those aren't that bad at all. Due to their lack of taste they react excellently to spices and sauces, and can still make for a great meal.
Plus, pangasius is cheap as hell compared to many other fish.
