Does the m1clic bypass the internal DAC of an iPod via the CLICs rear iPod connection?

It's a stupid question and sorry for asking, but from all the pictures I see posted, no one uses an iPod. Is it poor sound quality and lack of Rockbox support for newer models?

To the folks who've upgraded your iPods to 240Gb - do you use the stock firmware or Rockbox or both? What software do you use to sync with it? Do you notice a different in sound quality between Rockbox and the stock firmware?

I just noticed that while in shuffle mode- while a track is playing it will say  56/6000 for example (ie the 56th track of 6000 possible tracks).   but this 6000 is much less than the total amount of songs on my ipod (9000).  what is causing this? how do i set it so that it shuffles through...
