Zerstorer_GOhren

500+ Head-Fier
Pros: CADENZA 4

● Light yet sturdy composite shell chassis
● It has some of the best fitting and comfort as it offers excellent passive noise isolation.
● Like all LETSHUOER products, it has a substantial amount of accessories.
● High quality modular stock cable.
● Only needs a decent power output to amplify this set.
● A balanced-neutral tuning for neutral heads and midcentric individuals.
● Precise and sufficiently resounding bass response.
● Linear, clean and translucent midrange presentation
● Quite versatile on vocals and instruments.
● Smooth and inoffensive treble quality.
● Not a hint of sibilance nor stridency.
● Remarkable aspects of its technical performance particularly layering, separation and cohesive performance of its multi-drivers.
● Holographic stereo imaging.

LR-NEBULA

● Flexible and supple quality.
● It really looks premium and luxurious to feel.
● Inclusion of a storage case.
● Gold-plated termination plug.
● Pliable ear hooks.
● Not a hint of microphonic.
Cons: CADENZA 4

● Absolutely not for bass heads as its bass response appears to be lacking authority and impact.
● Not also for treble heads due its smooth and less lively treble response on their liking.
● Wishing for more airy extension.
● For some reason, like most resin shell chassis that were 3D-moulded by HEYGEARS, it looks a bit bland and feels somewhat cheap.

LR- NEBULA

● A bit pricey
● Doesn't have a modularity option for switching termination plugs.

Great review! They look like an apple product to me, quite nice. The nozzle looks like a thick boy though. Do you know what size it is? The Hexa was my first nozzle nightmare hahaha :)

100+ Head-Fier
Pros: I experienced 0 pressure build-up
Surprisingly tactile and satisfying sub-bass
Thumpy mid-bass
Bass-Mids-Treble separation
Extremely cleeeeaaaaan tonality
Layering is top-notch
The resolution is out of control (in a great way)
Very wide and spacious sound-stage for an IEM
Imaging sounds to be very precise
Airy Treble to die for
Natural timbre (0 BA timbre)
I (Personally) love the design
Very mature Tuning profile overall
Cons: Takes some serious tip rolling to get seated and sounding properly good
Amplification is absolutely necessary to get the most out of them
While the timbre is great, the tonality is on the thinner side
I'd like a bit more sub and mid-bass
Mid treble harshness on some recordings
Poorly mastered tracks will sound poorly mastered

New Head-Fier
Pros: - easy to drive
- engaging sound presentation
- great midrange
- above-average imaging
- great weight of notes
- great sounding vocals (forward)
- great sounding acoustic guitars, drums, percussion elements, and all types of crackles
Cons: For the money, there are no disadvantages, but if I had to list some:

- medium cable (I'm clinging)
- not the cleanest treble (at this price ? I'm clinging)
- single sibilants (very rare)
- average equipment (because the money went into the headphones - only praise Ziigaat for this move)

, but seriously: at this price, it is just nitpicking.

I really appreciate your reviews! The way you focus on musicality is brilliant. Since I mainly listen to classical music, would you say these are also suitable for that genre? I purchased the Artti 10 based on your recommendation, and they've been excellent for classical music. Many thanks!

New Head-Fier
Pros: • Bass slams with authority without compromising other frequencies
• Detail retrival and clarity
• Expansive soundstage
• Clean Simple Classy and elegant design no glittering swirly colors you see on most chifi iems.
• Lightweight despite its solid cnc aluminium body.
• Surprisingly good quality eartips with different bore sizes
• Beautiful two-tone translucent black and copper cable compliments the design and color of Delci.
• Good quality black leather textured case.
Cons: • For 60usd with this kind of tuning and quality i honestly could not think of any Cons..let me know in comments if you have any.
• If this was 80-100usd iem probably i can neatpick on the eartips and accesories.
• i am just writting this here so my Cons will not be too empty looking. :)

I don't personally use roon but Afaik the roon implementation isn't active yet, as it's blacked out on the menu. Another friend and owner of the mjolnir uses roon and said he had no issue with roon via his pc picking up the mjolnir as the output. Past that can't help you much on roon. But currently you need another source to run roon into the mjolnir.

You stated that the XRC setting "XRC. This is Lotoo's built in upsampling feature which upscales PCM playback to 32 bits (from either 16 or 24)".

Did you have XRC on or off during your comparisons?

I understood XRC to increase the sampling rate, e.g., 44.1 kHz to 192 or so, not to increase sample bit depth.

Thanks for a great review!
D
Delitia
@ruthieandjohn Yes, XRC was enabled for all of my comparisons, as much like AKs DAR, I found it to be improved overall sound quality and thus no reason to ever switch it off.

1000+ Head-Fier
Pros: Versatility.
- Great ergonomics, low weight and very good fit.
- Bluetooth V5.3, 3 sound modes, gaming mode with 60ms latency.
- 2 HD microphones, good call behaviour.
- Very good value for money. Excellent for the current price.
- Emphasised bass in Pop and Rock modes.
- V-sound ranging from light to pronounced.
- Many functions.
- Can be connected to two sources at the same time.
- Additional enclosure to protect the set.
Cons: Too many options to remember all the commands.
- Power is a bit too low.
- There is a big gap between the bass in HiFi mode and the Pop and Rock modes.
- Bass in Rock mode obscures and tones down the rest of the frequencies.
- They don't have a very informative, defined or resolving sound.
- None of the three modes work in a completely natural or full way. A mix of HiFi and Pop mode might work better.
- The operation of the touch panels is not the best, it is difficult to find the frequency for consecutive touches and the touch-sensitive spot on the outer face.
- The RoseLink APP is not fully functional and is too heavy.

You're right, didn't realize it was a newer model. I don't see how slapping an S on a trashfire suddenly improves it's quality, though. This is like the IEM equivalent of if Elon Musk suddenly announced Hyperloop 2. No one asked for this, xD
