@Jacobal The caldera is totally a different headphone.
Caldera sound like a headphone;R10 sound quite similar to a speaker, and while caldera is better technically (bass region),the R10 have a unique timbre, natural as no other nothing here and very euphonic.
However imo caldera is the best headphone from ZMF hands down

500+ Head-Fier
Pros: • Very musical, natural, immersive and refined presentation.
• Sounds very natural and engaging with Instrumental-Vocal music genres like Jazz, Blues, Classical and some Old Rock.
• Great Bass.
• Sweet and Natural Vocals.
• Very natural instrument timbres and great positioning in space.
Cons: • A bit high in price.
• Need an op-amp extender to fit in some audio devices.
In my honest opinion V6 will be really great addition to any audio system, it uplifts sound quality in every aspect compared to other cheaper Op-Amps. In my case compared to OPA1656, OPA1612...

Does not have I2S, as the Digital Connection De Jour
Cannot use as a fixed DAC, only as a Pre-Amp, AIO or as a Fixed Amp to another DAC

That is funny. I suggest not dialing it at all and just enjoying its brilliance. Accept the crossfeed which is amazing.

My new Corda Soul MkII arrived yesterday and I had a late night last night listening to music with it, up 'til 5am actually.

I am planning to do a review myself in a month but my very initial impressions of this DAC/amp completely concord with your review.

Pros: Beautifully balanced and very nicely sounding; the right amount of well controlled bass, great mids, and very extended highs; extremely transparent, with very high resolution; very good soundstage; very precise image; very broad dynamics; a truly all-rounder of top class.
Cons: Maybe an impression of a bit forward mids at times; not the biggest soundstage in height.

Pros: - Outstanding bass
- Unique signature that focuses on musicality
- More versatile than you might think
- Good value for the money
- Responds well to source
- Not dark
- Could be TOTL depending on your tastes
- No pressure build-up
- Rather comfy considering the size
- Ability to go from brick-wall to completely clean
Cons: - Pretty big
- Even though they are worth it for me, 400€ is definitely not cheap
- Bass can be on the slower side
- Track/Source dependent

Definitely pricing them out of reach for most consumers. Congrats they may sell 10 units. If it was priced at even $1500 it's still a major purchase for most consumers. I have no doubt these are totally awesome in every way but until the prices become more consumer friendly they are pricing them far out of reach for most. I would love to be able to hear a lot of the ( Flagship) gem's but for what I would spend traveling to a Can Jam , airfare, hotel, etc. I could actually buy a pair of $1500 buds ... as HBB says "at these prices these buds should crawl under the table and blow me" .. I'm not being negative or sarcastic but just stating the fact that it is what it is.....

@BDalton look at classifieds here and you will get some good deals. Unfortunately all good IEMs are getting crazy expensive to buy new.

Head-Fier
Pros: "Relatively" natural tone
Sound focused on music
Romantic voices
Nuanced, romantic and sweet bass, midrange and treble
Soundstage of an open - back headphone with great soundstage
It is excessively comfortable
It is possibly the best quality-price option (€140 now) to enjoy music.
Cons: Too warm sometimes
It is not the most coherent and neutral sound
Its resolution at a micro or macro level is not at the top level of products in its initial price range (€650)
Huge design
They are not very pretty (something completely subjective)

Pros: Great detail
Excellent imaging & separation
High quality stock cable
Extremely easy to drive
Punchy bass with adequate extension
Crisp but non-fatiguing highs
Cons: Very slight dip in some songs (only noticed in a single test track)
Extremely tight 2 pin connection
Non-removable nozzles
Large resin shell
Mediocre eartips (at least there are 6 different pairs, so ymmv)
TLDR - Amazing for the price, they have exceptional clarity and instrument separation for the price, with enough bass for all but the most adamant bass head, and very good treble without being...

New Head-Fier
Pros: - An excellent reference/analytical, transparent-sounding DAC under 100 USD!
- Clean, pitch-black,noise and distortion-free, spacious sound (literally).
- The most “revealing” DAC I’ve used under 100 USD.
- Well-done, powerful output (230 mw @32 Ohms).
- Offers two modes of gain.
- Offers SE and BAL ports.
- Independent hardware volume controls!
- Detachable cable!
- Does not require any app to sound in its optimal performance! (There’s an app but it is buggy as of this moment)
- Does not get too hot unlike most USB DACs.
- Minimal yet intuitive LED indicators!
- Quite tiny in terms of form factor!
- Excellent build quality!
- Visually pleasing appearance!
- Visually pleasing packaging! (subjective).
- Average power consumption.
Cons: - Having a revealing, transparent sound is a double-edged sword. (heavy emphasis on this one)
- Having an independent volume control also requires at least an - indicator or a tiny screen for me to see what volume step I am in.
- Some people may ask for a well-done, properly-functioning dedicated app for this dongle (I don’t need that as it works excellent without it, still subjective though).
- Cable is visually aesthetic and very durable, but it is quite stiff to my liking.
- A pouch or a carrying case would’ve been nice if included for its price, to prolong the dongle’s overall life span.
