if you buy the L3, it comes with a charger actually. not the LLP but its a regular charger that has a light(red means charging, green means charged). at least I got a charger with my triad audio Lisa when i bought it last august from the website.

what everyone said and I think a simply beyerdynamic dt770 or 880 or denon d2000 sounds better than their $500 model. Ive tried all three as i have friends who are easily swayed by rappers what they see on tv. I hear nothing but bass and theyre not that comfortable.

Are Tf-10s that good? I grabbed 2 pairs off amazon's lightning deal and I couldn't stand it. At least compared to UM3X, W4, and Denon d2000. is it just me?

Like someone stated above, anything braided (Westone) is virtually impossible to tangle. I've had my UM3X for 3 years and the W4 for a month now and no matter how I twist, run, or sleep with them, they NEVER EVER tangle, not to mention, there's no microphonics either. 

why not do this: source-amp-splitter-volume control(s)-earphone/headphone?

yeah i got the W4 with the 20% so i wouldn't lose 15% just to gain a cable although the new waterproof "music vault" would be nice. O wells, $360 for W4 from an authorized dealer can be seen as a steal if anything. The W4 seems to be alright to me but I don't see a vast improvement over the UM3X...

don't know about the W4 being tubbier. I find the W4 a lot more comfortable than the UM3x. i have a weird ear anatomy and the W4 is ALOT smaller than the UM3X, no matter which tip you choose from stock. it's however, growing on me. But I still find the UM3x a lot more controlled than the W4...

i cant take all this excitement! need to know whats under that velvet cloth. kinda wish its the UM4x tho. Id switch  my 10 hr old W4 in an instant.

what tips are you guys using with w4? im using it with the comply tip(stock) and I find the bass to be a bit uncontrolled at least vs UM3X.

just ordered the W4 a few minutes ago and this thread is making me nervous. I am using a custom shelled UM3X and unfortunately, the custom housing ruined the sound for me but from I remember, the UM3X was amazing and sounded almost perfect for me. Hopefully the W4 won't disappoint.
