Something I've just noticed on my pair. Left cup has a stopper that prevents it going full 360 degrees, while right can do full spin.   Is that normal for this model and if not what can be done to fix this?   Thanks in advance.

Surprised that no one compared it with W5000, seems like details and big realistic soundstage is a strong suit on both, makes a perfect logical choice for head to head comparison. P.S. Guess liking W5000 in a first place is a must to do any sort of objective judgment.

SPDIF coaxial Toslink or AES/EBU I believe I've read that AES/EBU (XLR) beats all of them, the next question is where to get reasonably prices good quality cable for that type of connection.
