iBasso DX90 Bug Thread - Post Any Firmware Bugs/Issues Here

I'm on firmware version 2.5.1.  The popping sound issue is still there when using the DX90 as a Linux DAC.   Will this issue be fixed before x'mas 2016?  I've been waiting for a functional DAC from my DX90 since I purchased it back in 2014...but this is becoming a false marketing promise more...

Currently on firmware 2.5.1 (L2).  When trying to use the DX90 as a Linux DAC, I'm hearing an audio glitch / click every few seconds.  Is anyone experiencing this as well?

Is there a way to mod the boot/splash image on the 2.5.1L0 firmware?

I have a question about the DX90 capability, hoping that some knowledgable head-fier can help me out.   Back in the days of Discman, the D555 had a feature called 8 times oversampling (I'm not an audiophile at all, and not sure what it really means in terms of audio quality, but it sounds like...

I wonder if they'll ever release the source code of the driver and firmware.  The lag is seriously bugging me, and there ought to be a way to optimize its performance to minimize the lag...  I mean, how else does other high resolution USB DAC work?  Unless there's a fundamental design flaw /...

[REVIEW] Logitech UE9000 - Ultimate Ears HEADPHONES Released! The UE4000, UE6000 and the UE9000 - Impressions Thread

I've been using my pair of UE6000 for about 4 days now.  The bass from the Great Gatsby's OST "A Liitle Party Never Killed Nobody" (FLAC, from about 1:14 for a few seconds, and at 1:44) sounded really awful from the UE6000 at first, with very obvious distortion of some sort (I'm not an...

Hey Gilsont,   I just saw your sig.  I, too, have the K550 and the DT1350. Personally, I prefer the sound and comfort of the K550 over the UE6000 (I'm comparing because the MSRP are very close between the two of them).  How about you?

I have the same problem with mine as well.  Right side (cable side) is louder (not by much, but noticeable)...or the left side just isn't able to seal properly.   At $60 bucks, I can't really complain much.  However, I still prefer the sound from my other cans.

Got it when it was first released.  I also keep a black one as a backup / collection.  :-D   Quote:   Really like them a lot.  I'm not much of an audiophile at all, but to my ears, these are great for anything I throw at them.  Vocals are extremely nice.  :-)   Quote:

Which item would you change in this setup?

The MZ-RH1 has a line-out, and I'd say it's the best sounding source of the three.   However, as it's not solid state and doesn't support FLAC, I would like to know what other options are out there.

Which item would you change in this setup?

I currently have the following portable setup, and thinking of buying a present for myself soon, possibly upgrade one of the following:   Audio file: FLAC Player: Sony MZ-RH1, Cowon D2, sometimes Samsung Galaxy S with Voodoo Sound Amp: iQube v2 Headphone / IEM: DT-1350, SE535   If...

Best sound quality low end android phone?

I've been using my SGS as a dedicated PMP ever since I got the SGSII.   SGS with the Voodoo mod, I'd say is pretty good.  It replaced my rather dated D2.

    New Beyer DT1350

I've been using the DT1350 for the past three weeks.  Initial comfort level was rather concerning as I was only able to have them on for about an hour before my ears started hurting.  Having now been adjusting the curvature of the headband, they're now a lot more comfortable and can wear them...
