Hidizs AP100 (DAP) Support Team - Now on Head-fi!
See what Haypur said on page 12. Thanks a lot. The part about 3 sec is misleading. You actually need to hold on tight to the two buttons until it happens.- Kraps

Hidizs AP100 (DAP) Support Team - Now on Head-fi!
Thank you very much! I suppose this is a translation of Hidizs' instructions. So I need to put the new FW file on a separate SD card (and even to one that is completely out of the player when I do it) rather that to copy it to the own memory of the device. Sounds a bit weird to me...- Kraps

Hidizs AP100 (DAP) Support Team - Now on Head-fi!
Please, excuse me if it has already been explained! How do I change the firmware? On Hidizs site there are instructions in Chinese only and the translation of Google Translate is complete mess. Thanks!- Kraps

Thanks Sherwood. Mine is #8*** and light box. I assume it should be basslight. It is interesting, though, since with other headphones the earlier production seems to be basslight. Say, R10. I will look more thoroughly for the rlevant review or discussion.- Kraps

I am sorry if this has been already discussed. Is there a significant sonic difference between units of earlier and units of later production? I have read a lot about such differences in other headphones but never came accross such comment concerning K1000.- Kraps

Can someone do a Sennheiser HD800 vs AKG K1000 review?
Thanks, Pyotr! Very helpful write up. Especially for someone like me, who only knows K1000 and is considering HD800.- Kraps

Would Metallica have been a better band with John Bush as a lead singer?
I dont know who John Bush is, but even if he were a more talented singer than Hetfield, no one could ever imagine Metallica with another frontman. Metallica is an institution in Rock music just as it is. -

Stax SR-007 Mk2 (export) vs SR-007A (Japan)
OK. Of course it is technically possible. But if a product is developed in a certain way what basis can there exist for its modification? At the end of the day it is important to have the product sold and not the distributor personally happy. There are a lot of Stax owners here and at least...- Kraps

Stax SR-007 Mk2 (export) vs SR-007A (Japan)
I think modification of a standardised product for a single country on the intitative of the local distributor is far from realistic. What is sure though is that the "German" Stax are the most expensive in the world When I was shopping they gave me the craziest price of EUR 4,900 for...- Kraps

Any bagpipe album out there?
Bagpipe is kind of a national instrument in Bulgaria where I come from. Our bagpipes are a bit different from celtic pipes (Scottish, Breton, etc.) but can really sound amazing. Here is a link to a favourite Bulgarian folk song Руфинка болна - Google Videos I sincerely recomend exploring...
