I have been using the Heimdall with the Audeze LCD-2 Rev 2 for several years and have had no issues.

Buy the Nordost Heimdall from a dealer who also offers burn in service using the Nordost VIDAR cable conditioner. Burn in problem solved.

Yup, just show up. Try the equipment,.with the permission of the owner. Not complicated. You'll enjoy the time spent with like minded folk. Buy gear when you're ready, then share it at meets as you please. We have been meeting quarterly. Don't see that changing soon.

I bought the KEF M500 at the California Audio Show because the initial impressions were good, the build quality excellent and the offer of a special show price. Brought them to the meet sealed. Opened the box and gave them a listen at several stations. All good, even without a lot of time on them.

The Kung Pao Tofu bowl at the Lagoon Tiki bar was very good. Decent onion rings, too.
