Hey guys... I've had the VHP-2 amp for some time now, and I'm looking to get the Magni 3. Any opinions on the Magni 3 and how it compares to the VHP-2? I'll be using it primarily with my DT880 250ohm 2005's.

I'd have to go with the k702's and the dt880's.  Both different but both are great and comfortable for gaming.  And combined with dolby headphone dsp, they shine even more.

I've tried it. Used a vhp-2 desktop amp with the mixamp. Just connect the portable amp to the 3.5mm headphone jack of the mixamp. There doesn't seem to be any problems with this, but there could be some issues with Dolby Headphone being processed with the extra amp.

The zalman clip mic is garbage. The MW2 throat mic works remarkably well. I also recommend the AD700's; best gaming headphone per price ratio. Not bad for music, too. Only neg is that they are bass shy.
