THE MYSTERY/ Itouch(3G)/Sony X1060/Zune HD/Sony A 847
Zune HD seems very mid heavy. The sound has a weight that I have not found in the new Fuse I have bought.- Hoeboe2k

Ipod Touch Best Head/Ear Phones
yea give her a pair of bassy phones. You probably were better suited posting this in portable headphones but I think if your looking at the IEMs, you should look at the dynamic driver ones if she listens to a lot of hip hop. I don't know the prices but maybe look at sennheiser, denons, or...- Hoeboe2k

Question about Digital Audio and headphone/amps
There is nothing "impure" about mp3s. MP3's are a lossy codec meaning they compress while you do lose some quality. It doesn't add anything. And you just have to check yourself honestly. Everyone's different, just like everyone's eye sight is different, everyone's ears are slightly different...- Hoeboe2k

iPod Touch or Zune HD?
I think part of the reason why is that the aps have ads on them. Little bit annoying but I don't really use the aps much anyways until they come up with something like slacker.- Hoeboe2k

X Series: A question about charging
I think what it means is that if the computer is in sleep mode, your x series is not going to charge the battery. Instead, the x series is going to run off its own battery (and therefore your not charging it, your draining it).- Hoeboe2k

Zune HD vs. Sony NWZX1051
I think the Zune is actually warm. I feel like what I don't like about the Zune's sound is that the treble doesn't sparkle and that detail wise it doesn't seem very transparent (maybe associated with lack of treble). Regardless, the Sony is probably the better sound quality wise. I don't even...- Hoeboe2k

If No One Uses EQ, Why The Desire For Players With Custom EQ?
Well a lot of times EQ can lead to distortion which is why I don't like to use it. Like I used to like using the R and B EQ on my ipod before I got good headphones. I realized after that it creates a lot of distortion that can be heard through the phones. However, on my iRiver Clix I turn the...- Hoeboe2k

The Zune is Dead, Long Live the Zune HD
That is true but they are already the largest 3rd party developer for OS X. You could make that same argument for developing software on the mac but they still do it.- Hoeboe2k

They need to add Mac support cause I would totally buy it right now if they did. Ipods work on Windows, why limit yourself like that, I don't understand...- Hoeboe2k

Which Swans speakers to choose.
Thanks for the responses. Anyone actually hear the M12? I did a search and found plenty of people who have heard the D1080 and the M200 and even the M10 but none who have heard the M12. I can't spend the money now to get a sub for the M200 but maybe later. Subs are expensive though aren't they...- Hoeboe2k

Which Swans speakers to choose.
I am stuck on choosing between the Swan M12, D1080, or the M200. I have not heard any of them and I don't think I'll be able to find a place where I can. I know theaudioinsider has a 30 day trial but it's an uneeded hassle to send it back so I want to make the best choice initially. I am...- Hoeboe2k

Headphones similar to Image X10's...
x5's have a lot less bass than x10s. It's a little bit more than the er-6i imo. X5's have very forward mids. I'd recommend the sf5pros from your criteria but they're considerably more expensive and I was never the biggest fan.- Hoeboe2k

Image X10 or Atrio m5?
You shouldn't really use IEMs to videogame. It's like asking which trackpad is the best for gaming imo although that is a bit more extreme. Go get some full sized ones if you want to game. If you had to have an answer though, I'd think Atrios cause they are dynamic drivers and will have more...- Hoeboe2k

Received my Klipsch X10 Image...
I think the stress relief at the earphones starts ripping due to the way people put them in. I also haven't seen them ripped but I think this from speculation and what I could deduce could possibly happen looking at my own x10s. I am in no way defending Klipsch (they definitely need to make the...- Hoeboe2k

What other tips fit the Image X10?
I don't find the single tips that deep. They seem no deeper than any other IEM besides Ety's because those you have to get out with tweezers. I have noticed they are sensitive to positioning also. The stock tips are oval so maybe that's where you're having the problems? I've stuck my Klipsch...- Hoeboe2k

SA6 or X10 for under $200?
The x10 has a lot of quality bass, even more so when you use the double flanges. I've read a lot of comparisons that say the reviewer prefers the x10's bass, while the SA6 had better midrange and slightly better treble. I've never heard anything bad about the bass for the SA6, just that the...- Hoeboe2k

SA6 or X10 for under $200?
I am just trying out the X5's and comparing them to the X10's right now. The biggest difference between the two is the midrange and the bass. The X10 has a lot more bass and it extends deeper down. The X5 has a much more forward midrange that is much more pleasant for guitars. I think the x10...- Hoeboe2k

Apple In-Ear's over Others
Yea seeing as you have pretty solid earphones already, I don't know if the Apple ones are able to cut it. Not saying that they won't but that I genuinely don't know. But if you can use the shortcut and mic features cause you have one of the newest ipods or iphone, then I think it's worth a shot.- Hoeboe2k

SE530 is the best IEM for the REAL world?
This is actually kind of interesting. I notice that when I listen on the go, bass is the first thing to get drowned out. I guess EQ can tweek it but I'd be interested why people like certain ones better than others on teh go too.- Hoeboe2k

ety er4i - instantly hate them ;(
I kind of don't like the ER-6i's triflanges even though they fit well. I tried the large biflange gel I got from my Klipsch x-10's and they work great, are more comfortable especially due to the softer material, and don't go as deep into my ear. If you don't want to go foam, maybe try the gel...- Hoeboe2k
