I was using the Sundara on a JDS Labs Objective O2 Dac/amp for awhile and it was plenty loud enough on low gain. I imagine the DX3pro would be able to do better.

I went with a Bifrost 2, I like it so far. The clicking the Bifrost makes when switching songs is a little strange, but other than that its a nice sounding DAC.

Yea, there is something definitely going on with their Returns Department at Apos. Feels like its another person/company that handles the actual return and they are not fulltime.

For what it is worth, I did a warranty return and the process took a little over 2 weeks to get the amp back. I assume they take much longer when its a full return to get your money back.

The Schiit Asguard 3 with the Dac module is good value for $349 USD.

Or Massdrop has Focal Elex available right now for less than $600. Thats a pretty good bargain

You can get Focal Clears for less than $1k USD new. They take a bass eq shelf pretty well if you want more bass.

First thing I'd do is go to the manufacturer's website and see if they have a Windows Driver or Firmware upgrade for it. Then I'd try a different micro USB cable. USB cables are pretty bad sometimes, it sounds weird but the Amazon Basics USB cable works pretty good.

Anyone have any recommendations for a DAC (Sub $1000 USD) for Focal Clear headphones with a Jotunheim 2 amp. I've been looking at the typical Bifrost 2 and the Ares II. But there are so many good brands that I'm not familiar with, looking for some ideas for equipment to research.
