Tansio Mirai Impressions Thread
Anyone have thoughts on Sands Vs AFUL Performer 5? They are two completely different IEMs, but i'm still hunting for something to replace my FD3 with treble nozzle.- AudioSeeker

The Sands are currently what I'm looking at picking up next. I just added a tube pre-amp into my setup, and was wondering how how it plays into the sound of the sands. If you end up getting a chance to listen to the Sands with tubes, I would be interested to hear your impressions.- AudioSeeker

Weird request, if anyone here owns a TSMR Sands and also has the ACE on hand, could you compare the two? I feel likely I won’t be able to get a comparison between the two though..- AudioSeeker

Here is HBB’s graph of my current FD3 with treble filter installed, and the Sands. The Sands have almost identical bass to the Serial (according to this graph). But the Serials have much more intense sub-bass than the FD3 when actually listening to them, How is the bass on the Sands...- AudioSeeker

First impression of the TA1 Max, its quite spectacular for the money. For $46 this is amazing, My first ever iem was the Simgot MT3 which blew my mind, having listened to $300 IEMs now and hearing these for the first time really puts into perspective how much you are getting for the price...- AudioSeeker

The PENON official thread
Just a heads up, I listed my Penon Serial up for sale in the classifieds. I have stumbled across a planar/bone conduction IMR IEM and it has peaked my interest, looking to try that out. The serial has been outstanding for the couple months that I have had it, hopefully it can bring joy to its...- AudioSeeker

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions
Based on the previous EDP, what kind of treble would we be expecting? Talking anything above 2Khz. Again looking for something resolving with a very present treble. Want to hear every last detail, while also not sacrificing bass quality/quantity if possible. SOG also looks like it fits my...- AudioSeeker

I have thoroughly enjoyed this set but looking to experience planar technology. Bass is strong, fast, and detailed. Mids are lush and forward and highs are detailed, well extended, and resolving while maintaining a overall warmth to the signature. Overall tonality would be considered "Detailed...- AudioSeeker

I feel like I would like the sound of the EDP Ace, but how is the fit? Do any EDP owners have any issues with fit or comfortability? My FD3 are less comfortable than my serial; which are a plastic universal fit style. From the pictures the EDP looks like a similar fit to the FD3.- AudioSeeker

I think I have narrowed my search down to the EDP Ace and the B-stock OZAR. From what I gather the OZAR is bass heavy similar to my Penon Serial, but sacrifices a little speed. The other option I am looking at is the EDP Ace with the DD, Planar, and Bone conduction. From my understanding this...- AudioSeeker

Could I also get a breakdown of the signatures of SOR, SOG, and OZAR. And what each of their strengths and weaknesses are? The only information I can find about them is on Head-Fi.- AudioSeeker

Looking for an upgrade to my Fiio FD3, which is a DLC single dynamic. Would anyone be able to list the differences between the OZAR and the SOG? My preferences are detailed/extended treble, fast clean deep bass. Currently the Serial meets my needs for bass, but not as treble forward as my FD3.- AudioSeeker

Here is a really good comparison between serial and Aladdin. The difference in timbre is what led me to purchase the serial, I have had three other affordable BA sets and they just sounded off. (Likely cause they also used lower end drivers)- AudioSeeker

Still thoroughly enjoying my serials but i am getting curious again, how do the Yanyin canons compare? Would I be sacrificing timbre and bass quality, If so is it minor? I notice serials use 10mm bass driver compared to 9.2 on canons. Also interested in treble differences.- AudioSeeker

Yes sir, one of my all time favorites! If anyone owns a Penon Serial for comparison, I would be interested in the differences between the Serial and the BQEYZ Autumn. This is pretty close to what I hear with my set. Almost bass head levels of bass while still being well controlled. Treble is recessed just slightly on mine, all in all it sounds like a high end 2.1 system. Very natural sounding, coming from a user of FD3 with boosted treble.- AudioSeeker

Just wanted to share a song that demonstrates the Serial's ability to place instruments in a sound field around you. Picture of the Serials, I have been enjoying them so far. The bass is spectacular and treble is well extended.
