    I just saw an example of preregulated power suppy in TI's LM317 datasheet. Anyone tried that? What's the benefit of that?

    Looks very good for single chip headamp. -120db THD at 600 Ohm load, very impressive, even Ad8610 is only -104db. and 50mA output really enough for any kind headphone without buffer.

    Just back from theater, matrix reloaded isn't too bad. So in pll mode, the output clock will follow the source, why the crystal speed will matter? I am thinking run the dir and mic by one crstal or clock.
