My question comes due to the pinout @Andykong shared some time ago. It seems to me the L+ and L- pin are shifted around when compared to the sony pinout: So i wanted to make sure this is OK.

Is anyone else suffering with the device freezing when browsing Tidal? If I open "my playlist", it will freeze after a couple of seconds. I have the latest 3.1 FW installed, not sure if it's something in Shanling's roadmap to fix.

Is it even possible to be loaded? Aside from that, AK seems to be looking into adding new options on the AK Connect app, but that will probably be DLNA crap, which I can already do with third party apps and frankly, it sucks. I'd rather just use local files at this point.

I don't think price is the determinant factor, but rather what you want out of a headphone. I love my Utopia to death, friends liked other pairs better, like HEK, or Verité's, I'll probably keep my HD800 for a long time still... and these are all on very different price points. IMHO, used HD800...

DAC-out is fixed volume, pre-out is variable volume, used to feed power amps or self-powered speakers.
